Trying to remember

What was it that MAGA apologists said about this story that made it ok to still vote for Trump?

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP REFORM IDEA

1. Make the District Championship mean something. Bigger trophies. Not everyone qualifies for District play. Create a system in which teams look forward to winning Districts. This should be as far as Geographic Representation goes. When it comes to the state tournament. All Kansas City, SWMO schools shouldn't knock each other out in the "playoffs". Why can't two Kansas City schools play each other in the Class 4 state championship game.

2. Eliminate the Championship Factor. This doesn't work against the bigger programs. I get that the creators were trying to penalize Trinity Catholic and the small private schools, making sure that they didn't monopolize the Class 2 State Championship. Eventually yes, it takes care of it's self in regards to the smaller privates, but the Championship Factor does nothing to penalize CBC, Rockhurst, Desmet etc.

3. Reduce the amount of classes. The State Championship in Missouri is fairly watered down due to the amount of classes and geographic representation. I could be wrong, but Missouri should not have the same amount of football classes as Texas. Again, make the District Championship mean something. MSHSAA is trying to create too many State Champions and I've heard that it's all about either revenue and/or geographic representation. In Missouri 4 classes should be enough.

4. Class 5 and 6 should be an All-Private school division. Class 5, small private schools. Class 6, larger private schools. MSHSAA is not going to remove the private schools from the equation. So the only way to counter would be to ditch the geographic representation idea as mentioned above. As MOST privates exist in the STL region, the current system of geographic representation constantly pits public schools from different sides of the state against the STL private schools. Let the privates compete within their own classes under the MSHSAA umbrella. Everyone wins.

Maybe one idea makes sense, maybe they all make sense. Maybe none make sense. These are just my random ideas and thoughts on how MSHSAA can improve their current systems.

Montgomery Co. / Summit Christian

1 quarter into this game and my impression so far is that the state title game was Thayer/New Madrid.

These other two teams aren’t bad, but neither of them have the ball skills or the athleticism that Thayer & NMCC have.

MoCo 6’8 center isn’t great but he’s kind of sneaky, he’s quicker than you think once he gets to the block.
The 6’3 PF is probably the most athletic player on their team overall as far as quickness and getting to the rim. Also plays very physical.
MoCo looks to have two guards that can’t go to their left.
They are athletic though I’ll give them that.

SCA has a 6’5 freshman who is going to be really good if he stays there. Their guards are better than MoCos are, but only because they can go to their left.

Skipping the election?

I won't skip the election, but honestly I don't know how I can in good conscious vote for either of these two old guys. Neither of these guys are honestly fit to run for office, ones to old and probable mentally slipping, the other is mentally unstable and also losing a step mentally.
So I don't want 4 years of Trump again, to me I think he is just running to settle scores and bring his justice to those who he honestly believes wronged him, which scares me to death. Biden I don't think that man is actually making any decisions, reminds me of Mermaid man from Sponge bob, just way past his prime and really just let the old guy go quietly into retirement.
Can anybody honestly say they are truly excited to vote for either of these two and see one of them win? I think most people are just voting to keep the other old guy out of office, which really is a $H*T show in itself, since that seems to be one of the biggest reasons. Lord knows the senate and house pretty much don't pass any legislation anymore or do anything for the country. And lets forget about bipartisanship that isn't going to happen anymore or anytime soon, so nothing will ever get done. Seems like for the most part a slim minority want their politician to hate the other guy and all their ideas seems that is what American politics has come to these days, just screaming loudly at the other guy and their supporters.
