AI Roast of MoSports

Since MoSports has been around since the days of early common internet usage, I asked a newbie in ChatGPT to roast this forum. The reply is interesting, although it seems most recent posts have made it believe we discuss the college game more. Here it is:

“can see that the MoSports football forum has a pretty dated and clunky design—feels like it belongs to the early 2000s. Navigating it is a maze of small text, broken links, and the sort of aesthetic you get when a website is stuck in the "we've always done it this way" mindset. The layout seems more suitable for a high school project than a forum where fans are discussing college football. If you're looking for a smooth experience, this is the opposite of that—it's like trying to scroll through a digital junkyard.”

Removal of Success Factor Cap

After doing some digging on MSHSAA's website it looks like removing the success factor cap which is currently set at 2 classes was approved as an agenda item on the January 15th MSHSAA Board meeting to be taken to the district area meetings. The last of the district area meetings is set for February 7th. The next MSHAA Board of Directors meeting is set for February 12-13 2025 so I would assume we might here some more on the topic from the press release they typically give after the meeting. Looking forward to hearing more on this. Personally I think removing the cap is a good idea.

West Plains Filled

The West Plains R-VII School District is pleased to announce Brock Kenaga has been selected as the head coach for the Zizzer football team for the upcoming 2025 season.

“I am honored and excited to lead the Zizzer football program,” said Kenaga. “Having coached in Missouri for many years, I deeply respect the tradition of excellence in West Plains, and I look forward to building on that foundation with our student-athletes, staff, and community supporters.”

Kenaga brings nearly three decades of coaching experience to the position. He began his career as an assistant football coach at Buffalo High School in 1995 before spending 28 years at Liberty High School, where he served as an assistant football coach from 1996 to 2020 and head football coach from 2020 to 2023. His leadership and experience make him well-prepared to guide the Zizzer football program.

“We are excited to promote Coach Kenaga to the West Plains High School head coach position,” said Dr. Ashley Cooley, Activities Director. “His coaching experience, passion for student success, and commitment to building strong athletic programs make him an excellent choice to lead Zizzer football.”
