It’s an Australian/New Zealand league (and it’s Rugby “League”, not Rugby “Union”, so it’s the kind without all the scrums…)

In rugby “league”, teams get six “tackles” (like downs) to score, or they’ll punt, like in football; after every tackle, the tackled player “snaps” the ball with his foot (no line of scrimmage, no stoppage of play)…

No forward passes, but punts are live as soon as it leaves the foot, so teams will do what looks like a “mini punt” to try to get the ball down field to their fastest teammates.

It’s a blast! (Better than the NFL, IMO 🤷🏻‍♂️)

I see where they are #1 in class 4. Who have they played. Traditionally they play against slot of small schools and lose early in the playoffs.
