Missouri Public vs Private "petition to amend"

Comparing public to private, which is better at teaching you:
-To deal with adversity
-To deal with people that are hard to get along with or don't fit your ideology
- To deal with people in different income brackets

Ok really. Im done. This has got to be the most stupidest statement of this topic so far. I know what I am dealing with now. Like I said. Ill be writing in against it, and thanks for helping me prove the mentality of the people behind this whole issue. Good luck on getting it on the ballot. Ill put my money on that it doesn't pass.
Yep, just disengage and don't answer any of my questions, you really showed me!

I wish MSHSAA would just stand up and say splitting won't happen. Shut up about it already. It's been voted down several times. They should do something to fix the recruiting issues.

For what its worth I attended and graduated from a private school and have taught and coached at both private and public schools. Parents have the right to put their kids in a private school if they so choose and there are both advantages and disadvantages depending on the school and the situation. But to completely dismiss the people that want public's and privates split as people whining and not wanting to compete is pretty narrow-minded. We have classes because of school size and equality of opportunity, so why not have separate classes for public and private. Or maybe we should just do away with classes and let everybody play in one big tournament at the end of the year.

Lets do 4 classes. One public schools who don't recruit. Two. Public schools who do recruit. 3: Private schools who recruit and supposedly offer free tuition. 4: Private schools who don't recruit.. Hell lets add...Public schools who have feeder programs and those who don't have feeder programs as a filter too, because we know that makes a difference and that makes a huge difference.

Thought you were done with this topic, and you didn't answer my questions :)

By your original logic, we shouldn't have any different classes. Be the best overall, or not at all.
