No, failure in the classic sense- not winning football games. And excuse making in the classic sense- looking for someone else or something out of your own control as to why you repeatedly achieve failure.Failures... like Coaching a team that was the last seed in districts. Then, instead of teaching kids a valuable lesson in perseverance, you want to forfeit the game. Then, admin does the right thing and makes you play anyway, and you cry about it . Failures like that?
Boundaries are huge, even cross state lines, can limit enrollment, no special needs, can limit problem kids-if they want, basically can hand pick their student body in terms of total numbers and individual they want.
That's a very interesting take, and I agree that is something many do not think about.

Ah the classic twisting of the words. I said 60-100 and Class 2 and 3. I taught at a class 3 school with 6 SPED teachers that had 14-17 students on their case load.

"A Class 2 school with 100 students on an IEP" were your words. I never said specifically that a class 2 school had 100 students on an IEP. I just told you a class 3 school that did. I taught there...as a SPED teacher.
Reading comprehension must not be your strongest asset. I just said Helias has a special ed program but it didn't start until around 2018. The article was to show how privates can not allow a student back with special needs if they choose not to. That can't happen at a public school. Twist it how you want but it's a fact.
I never said 100 students, but point in fact that it is a reality. Some private schools do offer special services, but is more of a recent trend. But, it is a factor that many do not think about.
I read fine. I can see why you would want to move onto personal insults, though. If my argument was as flimsy and questionable as yours, I would consider the same. My question was "What private schools do not offer a special services program?" And you answered with a link to an article about a private school that does, in fact, offer a special services program.

Here's a link to the number of students with special services by each district. And again, you can read it how you want to. I live in mid-mo, I would be shocked if Helias has 10 kids on an IEP. They didn't offer special services until around 18, like I already acknowledged. So up until then they had 0 students on an IEP. Going by their school directory Lutheran North has 1 Special services teacher...how many students do you think they're serving? 10-15 tops? Cardinal Ritter has 2 Learning Support Teachers. Not sure if they offer IEP or 504 Plans. Take a school with similar size, Lafayette County, and they have 5 SPED Teachers. Take those students away from LC and they're Class 1. Lamar would be similar.
You can argue all you want, but the fact is Privates don't HAVE to offer Special Services and if they do offer them they have a substantially less amount of students that have them.
I'm not arguing anything. Just trying to get you to back up your contention that some private schools do not offer special services. You've yet to do that, as I expected.
My original response was they don't HAVE to offer them. I'm almost certain MICDS does not offer special services. I believe Jomjam said he had a son attend. I'd love his input.
They do not HAVE to offer, but they cant refuse admission, solely, on the bases of their physical or intellectual disability. (they have to find another reason)

Without a doubt Armymike you have at the least shown those who are paying attention that you are a bigot willing to weaponize Race as a Shield and a Bludgeon to personally degrade another person without Cause or justification.
It is rather disturbing from a mental health perspective that I can say from a professional standpoint. Trying to characterize another person as Racist without cause, proof or justification denotes a rather cruel and crude personality disorder.
You have done this on several instances to various posters not only does it reflect on the weakness of your personality it also seems to be your go to crutch when you fail in the arena of cerebral debates and discussion. I of course figure you will try to deflect my analysis by saying you where just using humor or joking.... or maybe you will even double down and entrench yourself in the belief that Everyone you disagree with is Racist and hunker down with that mindset and try propagating that idea across this form.
Either way it really doesn't manner because you have Clearly by your own hand exposed your true personality and it's rather concerning.

I simply pointed out potential racism established by a pattern of behavior and actions. How it was taken after that says more about others than it does me.
Can you give specific details of racism exhibited on this Board and copy and paste? If you do have evidence then you must deem if it’s your civic duty to report this to mosports if you believe that action is necessary so proper action can be taken.

I think if anyone’s actions are closer to being racist? It’s absolutely Mike’s comments the past few weeks. He’s the racist here. He’s projecting a lot of hate onto others.
Look I’m not going through all the posts about St Mary’s, Lutheran North and, even more recently, Center.
And let’s not pretend like I’m the only one that has pointed it out. The worst part is, the reaction is always the same and makes the board look more racist.
For example what is something consistently said about football teams made up of our black brothers and sisters?
Athletic but poorly coached and undisciplined. I’ve seen it on here so many times it can’t be counted. Even in the last few weeks it was said about St Mary’s and CBC until a few of the more mellow posters stating that wasn’t the case. I’m sure you’ll type out an essay denying it though.
Anyway keep calling me racist. I find it hilarious giving I belong to the only ethic group that has to get a federal ID. It’s whatever though 🤪
Having a Sped director in the family I would say this is not out of the realm of possibility at all.
It's also a possibility that you or I win the Powerball drawing this weekend. I've got a gambler in the family that says so.
I think your odds would be better than you think. I have 3 kids on IEP out of 5 that is over 50%.
I have one in Private school and they don't offer IEP not even sure they know what that is? But they seem to do fine.
