My previous post is inaccurate, that obit was from 2014, not 2024, so I'm very sorry I didn't catch that originally.
Im not buying that shit at all or else some are right fire the coach. You have offseason workouts, then all summer long to get people trained up and in the right spot.People were saying this team was short on talent. They were never short on talent their talent was short on experience or not in the right place.
They have a lot of skilled kids and a lot of skilled coaches and a somewhat unique system that everyone knows. What they are able to do that most other programs cannot do is move kids around, give the next kid up a shot. If someone isn’t working out they have options. Most programs don’t have the depth to do that and make a meaningful difference, the team is either good or it’s not.
As an example I’m told that most programs hope to have one good QB roughly every other class of kids. There is a group coming up in Webb that has 3 good QBs in just one class. So when that group is varsity add those with other classes and they could potentially be down to the 4th string qb and still have better qb than many of their opponents. I’ve heard similar things about RBs.
damnt i know we not supposed to look ahead but now you have me wondering what BSS and Liberty return. They will be just as good next year!
You accuse them of recruiting and say you have to know someone in order to buy or build there. How is that not implying that they are doing something illegal?

Never said or implied any of that and I clearly don’t have a problem as I have stated numerous times. There are people that move into the district, that's obvious. You don't have the growth that they've had without people moving in. But there are still a lot of traditional names currently on the team and in the district. But most of them move in at a young age. You make it sound like they are getting a bunch of move ins during their high school years. Parents choose to send their kids to what they feel is a better school or the best situation for their kids. And if they do it legally, what is the problem?
Only after I spotted you a week..!You do realize that I BEAT THE MoSports CLOWN @HomeyR during the regular season pick em, right? NICE TRY BOZO!!
They will be just as good next year!If Nixa can't win a championship with this group they (or any rural C6) never will.

No one is crying. All I do is point out the hypocrisy of people like yourself. I'm all for parents doing what is needed to send their children to the best possible school. Blair Oaks is as good as it gets when it comes to public schools. I'd argue it's among the best in the country, let alone the state.
So please keep spinning this web that BO is all homegrown and blah blah blah. There is a reason BO has a poor relationship with surrounding schools. And yes you are right, there are many factors in BO's success, but this one you keep deflecting from because you know there is truth to it.
Pretty much all the "sleepers" have been tucked into bed for the offseason and I don't really see anyone busting form big time this week. I am not really a rankings guy anyway but there are a number of these teams that should be ranked higher (MICDS in C5 stands out big time). With the current rankings I will hold the teams that are still alive and in the playoffs. Let's see which classes have the most/least amount of top ten teams left.
Class 1
1) St. Vincent
2) Adrian
3) Marionville
4) Tipton
5) Pierce City
6) Penney
7) Ash Grove
8) West Platte
9) Windsor
10) Van-Far
3 Teams not in the top ten are left: Crystal City (21), Harrisburg (11), and North Platte (13)
Class 2
1) Fair Grove
2) Lafayette County
3) Valle Catholic
4) Lamar
5) Pembroke Hill
6) Mid-Buchanan
7) Warsaw
8) Bowling Green
9) Caruthersville
10) South Shelby
All 8 teams left are in the top ten so this class is pretty much chalk. The top 2 teams play each other in the Quarterfinals which always sucks. Although, you can definitely make the argument those are not the top two teams in the state.
Class 3
1) Seneca
2) Blair Oaks
3) Lift for Life
4) Mt Vernon
5) Maryville
6) Odessa
7) Dexter
8) Borgia
9) Strafford
10) John Burroughs
Only 1 team left is not ranked in the top ten: Hallsville (26) - Honestly one of the weaker District Champions I've seen in awhile. Good for them to be able to take care of business and beat the teams they have on their schedule. In the end that's all you can do.
Class 4
1) Lutheran North
2) Kearney
3) Warrenton
4) Festus
5) Warrensburg
6) Parkway North
7) Pleasant Hill
8) Savannah
9) Hannibal
10) Osage
2 teams left are not in the top ten: West Plains (13) and Gateway (23) - Poor Gateway is gonna learn this week....
Class 5
1) Cardinal Ritter
2) Platte County
3) Helias
4) Lafayette (Wildwood)
5) Carthage
6) Republic
7) St. Pius X
8) Eureka
9) MICDS
10) Webb City
Only 1 team left that is not in the top ten: Ft. Zumwalt West (17). I think it is interesting that Webb whooped the number 5 team and is number 10. I know their record is what is bringing them down but their recent performances have shown they are capable of beating just about anyone.
Class 6
1) Lee's Summit North
2) Nixa
3) Lee's Summit
4) Liberty
5) Blue Springs South
6) Liberty North
7) CBC
8) Kirkwood
9) Park Hill
10) De Smet
2 teams left are not in the top ten: Rock Bridge (11) and Jackson (14). The top two teams also play in the Quarterfinals for this class. Hate it when that happens but this class is so wide open it seems that the rankings are almost impossible to make accurate.
okLol I'm not the one crying on here. I don't rent to anybody that works for the Army National Guard, so not sure where you make that up at but oh well.
There are tons of factors that have gone into the success that Blair Oaks has had for the last 25 years. I could sit here and discuss what I think those factors are for days. But it does make me laugh when people like you whine and complain.
They have been very fortunate to have some really good athletes, coaches and families come through the district. Before the current QB, they had 10 straight years of a Hair at QB. Two of them went on to be starters in college. The current QB will probably also get recruited. How many Class 2/3 schools can say they had 3 QBs in a row, assuming Bax goes D2, that have went D2 or better? They've had 1 D1 player in this 25 year run. But yes please go on about the only success they have is because they recruit and find a way to move kids in before freshman year and they're living with grandma and whatever other BS you want to spew.
Lol I'm not the one crying on here. I don't rent to anybody that works for the Army National Guard, so not sure where you make that up at but oh well.Get a tissue. There is a reason you are so quick to defend your beloved school.
Hey why don't you tell us again about the Army national guard recruiter you rent to, who just happens to be from Jeff city and who's son just happens to be good at football, wrestling and baseball.
Judd was an outstanding high school player, put her team on her back and won a state championship her senior year. But I think she has regressed in college, I put the blame for that on Pingeton and she is not really made to be a SEC player. Although she had success in the SEC her freshman year. McCowan is the opposite, obviously flourishing. She found a great fit at Western Illinois and probably the reason she didn't transfer even though she entered the transfer portal.
None they really sucked, JN..............😏😏😏How many D1s did they have playing defense on the 2010 team?
Now that, I can agree with. The difference between Judd and McCowan in high school is that Judd had a better floor game, she could play any position on the court and was allowed to do it, whereas McCowan played off the ball a lot and wasn’t really coached to handle it and play outside much, therefore Lebanon had to rely on their guards a lot more to feed her, and her senior yr they didn’t have very good guard play, that’s why they under performed.
I think a lot of McCowans talents were kept under wraps in high school, in so many words, but Judd had more freedom.
Never doWebb didn't "whoop" anything
