holy cow, 24 turnovers to 4 assists?

Just checked the official box score, it was actually 26 turnovers to 4 assists
Mizzou went up 21-4 over Southern by the end of 1Q just to let them pull within single digits by half if I remember correctly and Southern stayed within 10ish pts of Mizzou most of the rest of the game.
At halftime Mizzou is trailing 37-30.
Tulane owned the second quarter outscoring Mizzou 24-13 including a 12-0 run at one point.
They are not being prepared for 4 full quarters of college basketball.

I quit watching at half. Had other stuff going on.
Mizzou will get destroyed in the SEC even worse than last year.
When they play Western Illinois tonight the best player on the court will be McCowan for Western Illinois, who is from Lebanon MO. Neither Mizzou or Mo State wanted her coming out of high school. They sure did this offseason when she entered the transfer portal for awhile. Guess she liked Western better.
I’d assume she’s gotten better since HS. Judd was far and away better than her back then. Saw both of them play live and online multiple times.
Well Mizzou took care of business last night. They have now pulled above .500 against their non-Power conference schedule thus far. 🤣🤣🤣
Mizzou's non-conference schedule has to be the weakest of any Power 5 Conference team.
I think she wants it. If it comes open and they don’t get her, it’s on Mizzou.
McCowan is a helluva athlete, at 5'11 she can leap and grab the rim easily, impressive for a dude, much less a girl. But hell, maybe Judd could too.
I have no idea about grabbing rim or anything but anytime I saw Lebanon play WP during McCowans junior and senior year, it didn’t go Lebanons way.
And her senior year, Judd had already graduated and WP beat them by 15-16 points if I remember correctly and she even had the Shockley girl I believe it was that transferred in from Central to help.
I’m sure she’s a great athlete and a good college bball talent, I have no doubt. Just didn’t impress too much when I saw her in HS,
The difference between Judd and McCowan in high school is that Judd had a better floor game, she could play any position on the court and was allowed to do it, whereas McCowan played off the ball a lot and wasn’t really coached to handle it and play outside much, therefore Lebanon had to rely on their guards a lot more to feed her, and her senior yr they didn’t have very good guard play, that’s why they under performed.
I think a lot of McCowans talents were kept under wraps in high school, in so many words, but Judd had more freedom.

Judd was an outstanding high school player, put her team on her back and won a state championship her senior year. But I think she has regressed in college, I put the blame for that on Pingeton and she is not really made to be a SEC player. Although she had success in the SEC her freshman year. McCowan is the opposite, obviously flourishing. She found a great fit at Western Illinois and probably the reason she didn't transfer even though she entered the transfer portal.
I agree that she has regressed some. Was playing much better her freshman and soph years in comparison to this year so far (it’s still early). I hope she transfers out of there to Mo State or somewhere that will let her play her game. She should have left after last year, and with only a year left I would say the odds of her leaving are slim. Here’s to hoping Pingeton is fired and Miller comes home.
They’ve got SLU tomorrow, a game that they lost last year.
