I still like Lawson in D8.
I wouldn't put a ton of stock into Macon's loss to Moberly or the margin. A better measuring stick will be next week against Clark County. If they can beat them, then it will probably come down to the Palmyra game, who is a lot better than most think. With another C3 team (Centralia) still remaining on the schedule I wouldn't rule out the 1 seed either.

Every team except for 1 in each class ends up not winning a state championships each year. If every STL area school sucks for not winning, then every country school that loses does too. Don’t envy the shine kids in other parts of the state get. Jealousy isn’t a good look on a grown man. Yep. I’d still consider a team that didn’t win state to be successful. Some kids don’t peak in high school and get to play on in college ... whether they win state or not.

Blair Oaks knocked off Maryville. I wouldn't count them out...........
Lathrop is not on Blair Oaks or Lamars level, and it isn't close. Both those teams are 3 TDs better than them. I would put Lathrop more in the category of Strafford and FG. They're very good in their own conference, and region even. But much like the best teams from the Heel or other pockets of the state that rise up suddenly, they really don't understand where the level really is. I'll happily be proven wrong, but that's just my opinion from watching small school ball all over the state!
