This is almost EXACTLY what I have been saying is the end game with all the shuffling and changes. A somewhat NFL type league all with a single affiliation outside of the NCAA. They will be assigned various "divisions", similar to districts are in MSHSAA. You meet a certain threshold in your division and you get to play for a championship.

It may start with football but the next thing will be basketball because money. This will push the trend of featuring more mediocre teams with name recognition and fewer (or none) quality mid majors. The super tournament will be the new march madness and it will feature exclusively big name teams even if they aren't very good. The new NCAA tournament for the remaining mid and low major D1s will become sort of what the NIT is now.

Lamar has a HS Defensive Assistant Football Coach opening with room for growth in 1-2 years. Other coaching opportunities are available as well.

Teaching positions include:
MS Physical Education, HS Math, HS Special Education (Possibly more openings by the end of the year)

KC Current new soccer stadium opened up yesterday. Was amazed how nice it was. Would be the perfect size stadium for state championship games for football.

Not NFL but it still caught my attention on the news. As good as Carthage has been as a team lately I can't recall hearing of any recent players going pro or even to a major D1 program.

I know they wont miss me, but this old man is done with the NFL 🤷🏻‍♂️

I see the Class 1 state champs are S Nodaway/Jefferson (Conception). Just curious and wondering if they are the first co op team to win a state championship?? How far apart are the schools? What is the attendance of each? How many girls from each school on the team? Do they have a JV team?

Good for the girls! Not looking to stir anything up. I like the co op rule if it gets more kids an opportunity. Main;y wondering if they are the first one. I don't think the rule has been around a long time.

The Tipton School District announced in a Facebook post that Meadville girls basketball coach Steve Carvajal will be the district’s next Activities Administrator. Carvajal led Meadville to an undefeated state championship season in 2023 and his Lady Eagles spent this past regular season ranked number 1, before falling in the state quarterfinals to Cairo. While his senior All-State daughter, Paige, graduates, his other All-State daughter, Madison, is wrapping up her sophomore season. Tipton girls basketball finished 3rd at state this past season and won a state championship in 2023. Tipton will be part of the new Central State 8 conference, that Harrisburg and Fayette will also be part of.

There are some real head scratcher scores. Are PC , Smithville and Kearney all down? Raytown played some of the worst football I've seen a team play against Fort last week. Platte not blowing them out (or NKC) and Smithville not blowing out Ray South who barely beat Raytown and Truman.

Liberty North is a buzzsaw right now and I can't see anyone getting close to them IF they stay injury free. I didn't watch week 1 for LSN so I don't know how they lost. LSN scores aren't near as impressive since. Does LN have to worry about a RB like CBC has last year?

If you are a coach of a team and you have players that are paid a good NIL package to represent the University, Should they be required to play in the NIT?

Hey all,

I've been experiencing a frustrating problem with my cricket game lately, and I'm hoping some of you might have some insight or solutions to share. Every time I launch the game, it crashes within a few minutes of gameplay, and it's seriously affecting my enjoyment.
I've tried various troubleshooting steps like updating my graphics drivers,
verifying the game files, and even reinstalling the game, but nothing seems to work.

I'm playing on a fairly high-end PC with all the recommended system requirements, so I don't think it's a hardware issue. Is anyone else encountering this problem? If you've faced similar crashes in cricket games or any other games, please share your experiences and any fixes that worked for you.

How do we feel about Larsen of Strafford getting COY award in this district?

Fair Grove just repeated as state champs under their new coach Gary Greene

Both teams played tough schedules, Strafford went 17-11, their worst record in a few years, 6 of the losses by 15-33 points. Fair Grove went 25-7 and beat Strafford by 30 in districts. Their 7 losses were all to really, really good teams like Rock Bridge, Poo, Skyline (twice), ELDO in the first game (beat them in the state championship game), Republic, and Marshfield. Skyline had their number - beat them by 11 and 16, but their other 5 losses were by single digits to said tough and mostly teams from larger schools.

They did return most everyone, but lost their best player from last season, Green.

Strafford returned Elsie Larsen, the coaches daughter and an all state player as a freshman, Jones, and at least one or two others with varsity experience. And although they did lose two starters, I for one expected them to do better than they did.

What am I missing here?
