Nice test for upstart Ruskin.Grain Valley vs Ruskin from the best seat in the house.
The Mox (also a QB) went to Brown UniversityI was going to say the same thing. Didnt he go to Brown University or some Ivy school?
BO also has the "best loss" with a loss to the #1 team is Class 4, and the best win when they convincingly beat the #3 team in their class. I wouldn't say that BO staying at 1 is because of past history, although it certainly doesn't hurt.
Like most sites the owner moves away, losses interest or can no longer afford the cost to maintain site or dies. The great Jefferson City site and a couple of good sites for Lexington & Winnetonka that had all the scores disappeared before I could get info off of them. So, my Lexington & Winnetonka records only go back to the 1990s but I found another source for Jefferson City for the 1905-1949 scores I was missing.I thought there was a booked published some time back that had every score of every game all-time in it with Webb City football history not to mention the website which I completely forgot about until this question was brought forth ... what happened to the Webb City football history website?
Last time had a .500 season was 1984 (5-5) with coach Mark McDonald & last sub .500 season was in 1982 (4-6) under coach Mike Hutchinson. When was the last time Webb City had a losing record in varsity football???

Faulkner was a beast...one of the loudest hardest collisions I ever saw was in one of the Valle game at the goal line, I believe Greminger?? took him on...just echoed across the entire complex.Kory Faulkner was the QB at Ste. Gen. Jeremey Hoog played for Valle and went on to Missouri State and last I heard held many of the QB records there.
I don't think it makes sense for a class 5 or 6 team to leave the COC. They will be in the same district as the other COC teams either way so you have to figure out how to beat them eventually.I am glad to see Neosho doing well also and hope it continues. They had an opportunity to downgrade conferences but instead they opted to continue trying to up their game. I like that and hope it pays off. There is a lot of community support and buy-in there which is not always the case in places that have struggled as they have. Even in some places that have done well.
I hope the Carthage game is as close as you predict. But my gut says it's going to take a recruited private school roster or at least a decent KC suburban C6 to stand against that offense.
Save room for Jack Fessenden in a few years! That kid could hoop!Troy inducted 12 athletes/coaches into their Hall of Fame last night with a banquet. This was the initial group and was made up of men and women from various sports. The men who were honored from basketball were Hunter Beckman, Bob Hall, and Carter Creech. Hunter was All-State 2 years, scored over 2000 points, played at Memphis State where he averaged 25ppg his senior year, and was drafted by the Cincinnati Royals. Carter was All-state 2 years, scored over 1800 points and was Southern Methodist captain his senior year. Bob Hall scored over a 1000 points, played at Moberly J.C.. Bob has been the voice of the "Trojans" for over 40 years and has supported the athletic programs in many ways for 50 years. The last person inducted was Coach Mitch Wilkins. Mitch won 498 games in his 23 years at Troy and took Troy to 4 final fours. All of this years inductees were pre-1993.
