A very slack week in the KC Metro, frankly. I am going to Oak Park hosting Fort Osage.Any big matchups this week that you guys are looking forward to?
People are talking about it because people hate winning teams and want them to lose. You're not going to hear about something in the Panthers and Raiders game because people don't care. I guarantee the 3 games the Chiefs have played this year are 3 of the top 10 viewed NFL games so far. People hated the Patriots back in the day because they won and were the team to beat. The Chiefs have now taken that role.Refs know they have done a good job when no one is talking about them after a game. Two weeks in a row football fans from all over the country, who are in no way associated with KC, Cincy, and Atlanta have been stirred into a frenzy.
They didn’t do a good job in those two games. Co-inky-dinky both games favored the KC Chiefs. Tarnished victories. Be better at understanding neutral football fans disgust with this recurring theme.
Still upset? Like me being at Coach Nickerson's house that night, show me the video evidence!! HA! NICE TRY!Talk about bad calls... the Immaculate DECEPTION\
Hurd should be back starting with a full week of practice,,that should help Webb offense and could be a difference makerNixa: There is really no need to discuss Nixa games for the remainder of the reg season. None of them are compelling.
Republic probably beats Joplin but I could definitely see this going Joplin's way too. I'll say Republic 28-17. Might be a good one.
Ozark handles Waynesville similar to how they handled Willard. Ozark 48-14
Carthage beats Willard 47-7
Kickapoo beats Glendale 24-21.
The game of the week that no one was expecting is 4-0 Neosho at 1-3 Webb City. I don't know how anyone could not favor Neosho here but it just feels wrong. Webb City has some defense but Neosho doesn't. Neosho has offense but that is where Webb City is hurting. They say defense wins games so even though Neosho looks like the superior team here they may not matchup favorably even with this version of Webb City. I'm going to say Neosho wins it 31-28. Wildcard here may be how many defensive points that Young kid can bring to the table.
The west COC is going to be fun to watch over the next few weeks to see who comes out on top.
I don't know enough about Neosho to make any type of real predictions but I would think they have to actually be favored in this one, no?I'm very intrigued by Neosho at Webb City. There is no outcome to that game that would surprise me but it will be fun to see what it is.
Sorry if I'm a little testy......I've been putting up with Toots' nonsense all day. I'm sure you get it...I put them at 4-5
I put them at 4-5Putting Camdenton in the same category as those bottom 4 is not even close to fair. They will beat Hickman by as much as they want and Battle as well just like they did against JC and SC. They are easily 4th with a huge gap to 5th.......They are wayyyyy closer to 3rd than 5th.
I agree except for maybe putting JC ahead of Hickman and we'll see if SC can beat Battle or Hickman. I think the cap city/camdenton game could be a good one like it was last year, we will just have to see how injured the camdenton qb is. I could also see Cap city winning handily. If any of the bottom 4 beat any of the top 4, I'll start agreeing with toots when he says crazy things! We will find out this week, but I would rank them as so:
1. Helias
2. Rock Bridge
3. Cap City
4. Camdenton
Pretty substantial Gap
5. Hickman
6. Jeff City
7. Battle
8. Smith Cotton
I could see anyone of the bottom 4 beating each other. But I would be shocked if anyone of them beat one in the top 4.

Tie between Camdenton and Hickman. Battle, JC and SC the rest of the way.
I sincerely hope you are just messing with us and you don't actually believe all this nonsense you are saying. So say it.
“The Chiefs got the call both times.
The PI in the Cincinnati game was iffy.
The PI in the Atlanta game was blatant.
Atlanta should have had first and goal at the one. Mahomes would have still had a chance to win it. But I can understand why fans of other teams are tired of it and pissed.”
If you say those words instead of “what about the offsides in the first quarter and the holding call on blah blah blah” and “you said 2 minutes when it was really 4” then I will slowly walk away and have great respect for the KC fan base.
But we do not dare mention those. Because the roughing the passer that led to a TD when they would've punted wasn't a big play in Toots Eyes. Neither was the PI on McDuffie or the hands to the face on Conner. Even though they were on the last drive and under two minutes, those weren't the same as the missed PI call against Pitts. That's the only one that really would've effected the game...And there were iffy calls for the other teams that nobody points out or remembers. Last night three horrific stupid bad calls vs the Chiefs. The roughing the passer was a joke. Two of the PIs were idiotic.
Republic I think is getting ready to start doing some really good things.I noticed the 8th grade was shut out by Republic but maybe that Republic class is really good.
I noticed the 8th grade was shut out by Republic but maybe that Republic class is really good.Webb has a down senior class. Just like 2016 when you all were calling for jrod to hang it up. They have several massive talent classes behind this down to 6th grade if all stay in the program. Looking for things that arent there

Rock Bridge (3-1) at Helias (4-0) - Rock Bridge is a solid class 6 team but Helias is legit. Helias by a couple TDs at least
Hickman (1-3) at Smith-Cotton (0-4) - Poor Kewpies...
Jefferson City (2-2) at Capital City (3-1) - Capital City by as much as they want
Helias seems to be by far the best team in the conference. (private schools am I right) It should be between Camdenton, Rock Bridge, and Capital City to see who comes out as the second best team. The gap between the top 4 and bottom 4 is huge.
