HSFB ended in MO one week ago BUT not nearly over in the Lone Star State

Last night did the live blog for Sports Illustrated on the Oklahoma Class A Division II state championship… a noticeable difference in Oklahoma is the lack of turbo clock when a team leads by 35. Woodland was up 42-0 in the second half and at that point both teams just started trading offensive punches … final score was 58-23 and the second half took forever. Didn’t help that the white hat was so slow and deliberate on his delivery of penalties that it drug the game out longer.

Today I’ll be doing the Oklahoma Class 4 game between Elgin and Tuttle, Elgin has an offensive lineman who has committed to Tennessee.
Can Boomer not lockup the state ???

Advisory Board to meet the 19th

The top 10% of public schools win championships at a high rate than private schools do. Should we kick them out too?

Class one should be capped at the 2.0 ratio. If we follow you plan class one would have schools ranging from like 90 to 240.
No we wouldn't because you have not seen my plan. As I have not put one out separating them. I've only put out equal classes and it didn't exceed 2.0

It's on this board if you wanna read em.

Very cool! Got to check out the very exciting 6A D1 and 2 finals gotta say didn't nearly see Choctaw winning the latter! Had forgotten they were blown out by now 2 (nearly 3) time defending KS 6A champ Gardner-Edgerton back in mid September.

Adrian 34 - Hamilton 13 (FINAL)

Just saw he won conference defensive player of the year and now Class 1 defensive player of the year. Well Deserved!

CONGARTS TO ALL THE COMET ALL STATE PLAYERS

Advisory Board to meet the 19th

Remove all privates. Break into even classes. Class 1 schools shouldn't have a 1 in 32 chance while 2-5 have a 1 in 56 chance that's asinine. Even classes will cut some traffic down.

Reeds Spring Wolves

This is a post to kind of go along with my Lady Wolves post, but the Wolves have started the season 2-0 also with a strong victory over Green Forest (Ark), and then Gloria Deo Academy juju. Great job so far and here is to more victories this year!
That's awesome! Congrats to the Lady Wolves and the Wolves for their strong start to the season! 2-0 is a great way to kick things off, especially with wins over Green Forest and Gloria Deo Academy. Here's to continuing that momentum and achieving even more victories this year.

Dunk Calculator Online Question

Hi everyone!

I recently came across a dunk calculator online that helps estimate whether you can dunk based on your height, reach, and vertical jump.

It seems pretty straightforward, but I’m unsure how accurate it is. Does anyone here have experience using these tools?

Are they reliable, or do they tend to overestimate?

Also, does anyone know if certain factors like body weight or arm length are factored into the calculations with Dunk Calculator Online - How to Dunk a Basketball?

Would love to hear any advice or recommendations on the best calculators or personal tips for improving my vertical jump.
thanks in advance for any help

State championship predictions

I will start with sports.

Football:
  • Fires Coach LePage in 2017, he was the 2nd winningest coach in school history with 1 losing season.
  • Walker leaves in 2020, he was supposed to save the program and then bailed after 2 years because he realized what a mess it was.
  • Scott Bailey leaves after 1 year
  • Run Coach Wells out of town after having their most successful season in 15+ years with a semifinal appearance (even if it was a weak district and should've been in Class 5 lol)

Basketball:
  • Run Buffington out of town after B2B Final 4 appearances

Baseball:
  • My opinion, but the reason why Ash left was he did not want his kids going to JCPS. Again, that is my opinion, I have no evidence it's true.

Academics:
  • 2016 almost lost full accreditation, I think their APR was 70.1%. They were at 70.9% in 2022 although they have improved the last two years.
  • Countless numbers of lawsuits from within in the district.
  • Look at their test scores compared to surrounding schools (I know test scores aren't the end all be all, but still a good reference)
There is a reason if parents are able, they are moving their kids to surrounding districts, Helias, BO, SoBo, etc. They typically don't have to worry about their elementary kid getting books and shoes thrown at them in class or listen to a 3rd grader cuss out the teacher. Until JCPS begins cleaning house from the very top, they will continue to struggle.
Who told you that Coach Wells and Buffington were run off?
