Joe…can I get a crying meme?I wasn’t arguing that they’re on the same level, you just act like the COC is a 10/10 and the OC was a 1/10. Just taking pot shots for the sake of it and just being an ass. You know you were. Everybody on here knows you were. Show a little class and maybe you’ll get the same in return.
Everyone wants to hate on Joplin, but IMO I thought they looked fine. It is always difficult to tell because coaches are simply keeping it vanilla and getting kids on tape to finalize the preseason depth chart. O line has good size but may be a bit soft. QB has a good arm but was a little off target on some throws. The TE and WRs looked good. Defense gave up some plays to Seneca but still respectable overall. I’ll predict a 3rd place finish in the COC with a ceiling of 2nd and floor of 4th.
WC looked small and slow I think they look terrible in the jamboree every year but by years end, I’m sure they’ll be coached up. Floor 5th and ceiling 3rd.
Seneca looked good. Probably the best of the 4 teams if Class size is considered.
Lamar only had a little over 50 kids suited up. Also not very big size wise. I thought their play was comparable to WC but considering they’re class 2 and not 5, they’ll be just fine.

will we have a Bosko approved Hot Moms thread on Monday?
@BoosterBoskoReminds me of the Penn State offense.
Bosko's WHITE OUT agree!Reminds me of the Penn State offense.
Seen Chilli at Moberly tonight. Good size and RB has good speed. Prolly correct on the middle class of the conference. Looked good against Boonville and not so good against Centralia in Jamboree.Just read this! St. Pius X looks and coach sounds every bit the part. I don't like them in the opener (won't be in Pick Em) but gotta be favored in all the other games except the annual toughie vs. St. James Academy but THIS could be the year they get that one!
Savannah also reads well. Looks overall like another "no middle class" league unless that team is Chillicothe.
For what it’s worth, Carthage didn’t play 4 starters tonight. Their sophomore class is pretty solid also.Wondered about that, I also meant to mention I was hearing an awful lot of Carthage soph names on plays not the kids who I expect are going to do most of the heavy lifting.
The whole Trump name-calling and personal insults schtick by someone not considered the "typical" politician is an appealing trait to the poor, downtrodden, and under educated rural Americans. The most amazing thing of the Trump phenomenon is driving through rural Mo, passing a mobile home with a rusted out truck, grass a foot tall, and an abandoned school bus out back flying a Trump flag. I've never figured out how his most staunch supporters are the ones who has the absolute least in common with. Upper 70 yr old ultra wealthy, penthouse living, caviar eating, limo riding, etc contrasted with rural Americans who don't have 2 nickels to rub together. Not to mention the character and lifestyle contrast. It's unreal.
Starting QB didn't play.I didn’t get there in time to see Nevada play cj but thought Nevada looked pretty good and zippy just way outmatched vs Carthage.
CJs defense came up with a couple good interceptions but otherwise they weren’t really able to do much against Carthage.
Thought Nevada looked good against CJ, kind of surprised they didn’t do more against Carthage.Carthage does look good, seemed to average about 15yds per play, although to be honest I did think Nevada looked faster.
