when are School Administrators going to figure out they need to lock the doors

Well of course,,,a 30-30 has more muzzle energy than a .223 fired from a AR-15. Almost every rifle round is more effective than the average pistol cartridge
He states the obvious...you have a host of non-informed gun owners rallying against a defensive tool, used inappropriately by the criminally insane and they want to outlaw the tool as opposed to fixing the issue.

I mean 150k a year die from Drugs and Alcohol...so I'm sure they are in full support of bringing back prohibition and amping up the war on drugs! Car's are next around 38k die from those over double the gun deaths....and it's the number one killer of kids.

The illogic they spew boggles my mind. But I get it they put emotion over intellect. So it makes sense in that context.

LMAO now it's the media's fault!!🤣🤣:D:D🤣🤣 You're too much, man!!
Well we have video games, the principal, and his mom. Everything but an 18 year old being able to legally buy two powerful guns with no training or licensing.

So you are for the law when it's relative. I have witnessed illegal immigrants in droves on my flights from El Paso Texas to KC for nearly 2 years. They are dressed in Walmart sweats, wear cheap sneakers, carry a cell phone and government issued folder. They are from every country in world. They were apprehended. But according to common knowledge they're not obligated to return for the immigration hearing in a meaningful way. I have taken photographs. I have seen bus loads of groups leaving the airport. They are the ones that have bothered to get assistance before dispersing across the USA. We are paying for them. It's that simple. This is only one airport, I do not see the other airports at the Southern border. I had two flights per week for 10 years. I can see the border from my hotel.
How about all the ones that have overstayed their visas? There are more of them than any other illegals. You know like the ones that flew planes into buildings on 9/11.

You have watched too many movies. 65 grain .22 caliber bullets traveling at 4000 feet per second just explode when they hit something solid like a heavy steel door.

have you ever fired an AR-15 or anything that fires a .223 cartridge??
Of course it will be a AR15 because that is the gun that the MSM has hyped up as the weapon of choice of Mass shooters and thus the mentally deranged latches on to those tropes and it becomes a self fulfilling situation. The mental make up these people are such that they develop a copycat viewpoint to achieve the outcome they desire. Out law AR15 and they will still get them you will just create a black market. Do you recall the 70's and 80's when the MSM hyped up the 38 special as the weapon of choice and of course it became the cheap disposable gun of death in that era.

The logical way of looking at it is that AR15 kill less people than violence done with Hands, Feet, Knifes, Clubs or handguns. The threat is minimal. The sensation by the media and the emotional outburst by the left is massive on a scale that doesn't reflect the actual danger or threat.
You should go to Texas and tell those parents that. But you better be a long distance from them when shout it out or you might become a victim of violence your self.

He is a adult at 18yr old. He can be drafted, Enroll in college, take out loans, Get married, buy a car, a house, a chainsaw, a knife, baseball bats, motorcycle etc. Why would you not allow a 18yr old adult access to a self defense weapon? And let's not act like these guns are more powerful than your average deer rifle.

Why would I go and inflict emotional pain on the Parents? Your response is illogical. While my point is valid and logical going to Texas and shoving that in the face of those parents is bad form.

But just because those parents are suffering emotional pain doesn't invalidate or make my points wrong or lesser. Peoples Pain doesn't circumvent the facts.

Joe Biden said mass shootings tripled when the assault weapon ban ended. They did

Well you want him better trained so he can kill 30 or 40 kids instead of 19???

and does him having a license to own the gun make those kids any less dead???

come up with some workable plan that would actually keep kids safe then come back ok

You can't rent a car until you're 21. Would be a good call on buying AR's too. Seems reasonable..?

Clearly you don't understand the mental process of this type of mentally ill person. They often crave attention for various reasons and then parrot or ape behaviors or actions that are known to fulfill those desires. They will literally feed into things to get a desired outcome.

On a small scale why do TV networks have a policy to not show people who enter the playing field during play? Because they know that by showing these antics it will inspire other people to do the same at a greater rate.

When you sensationalize actions and scenarios it often activates thought process in people with mental illness to take action. Often in the criminal justice field LEO is reluctant to admit a serial killer is at work because they know it will increase the odds of a copy cat mucking up the investigation.

I'm not saying the MSM creates the monsters.....but the continued 24/7 hype and coverage does bring them out of their caves to terrorize to a degree.

Jeez man you blame the Gun which is actually mentally of kilter as it takes a Person to wield said tool. A gun has never jumped off a table or out of a gun case and went on a shooting rampage. The natural laws of the universe and physics make it impossible for that to happen. It takes humans to do these things and they are to blame 100%.

One is a Constitutional right for a adult.....the other is a private business making a good business decisions. Apples to Mango fruit comparison.

Cowards hide behind an AR-15.
A lot of Cops and Security have AR15.....what makes a person a coward who has one? Why would a person be a bigger coward with a AR15 than a person carrying a M1Grand, 30.06, 308 winmag etc.?

Ok, how about alcohol? Have to be 21yo to buy that but 18yo can get an AK? Constitutional right, right?

Yea the Assault weapons ban specifically waived regulating over 800 weapons. The Ruger M14 is one of the best .223 caliber semi auto rifles available and they deemed it was ok because it didn't have a black plastic stock

Yes it's a constitutional right....no where in the Constitution is there mention of the right to alcohol. And Alcohol and the Kings tax on it was the primary driving force for the revolution, not tea. If the Founding Fathers thought it was as important as the Right to bear arms you might think it would of made the list. It didn't so clearly they had no problem with it being regulated.

Me personally I think the age limit is BS....but most others do not so it's the Law.

Cause they are stupid.....and no little about guns. They operate from a position of fear and lack of faith of their fellow man.

First, it was business owners who decided to not rent cars to 18yos. Then the alcohol excuse is because of the king of England. That's rich.

The fact is a barely 18yo walked into a Texas gun market with no certification and no training and walked out with an assault rifle and enough ammo to wipe out the fourth grade and its teachers!

I had a friend tell me that the cops held up in the hallway because of the Liberals. Note to self; need smarter friends..

How many mass shootings have occurred inside a school building where the outside doors and classroom doors were securely locked???

Newtown he shot out the glass and used his AR—not a baseball bat or a pool noodle to slaughter little kids. Vegas guy shot everyone from his room. I could go on and on.

And he could have shot those doors out any way. I thought you knew guns. Their classroom doors had a window. He could shoot the window and reach thru and turned the knob. Access isn’t the problem.
He could have shot more kids at recess.

we need red flag laws. We need fewer guns everywhere. We need people who don’t secure their guns to pay dearly. We need attitude changes.

There are 2 groups that gain from these tragedies, the gun manufacturers, and the politicos who either pray with us or demand action. The threat of gun control has created a false scarcity of ammo, the cons and libs get to pontificate, everyone wins but us.

The drastic actions I personally would take would never pass. It would take drastic measures to fix this problem. And I’m talking gang bangers in Chicago, the fame hungry teens who claim they were bullied and wipe out schools and the supremacists showing their hate.

Eventually we will get a half-assed bi-partisan solution that will be ineffective and the mosports Magas will crow like they are geniuses. They “called it”. But they propose nothing except lock your doors and stop teaching CRT.

It's called being rational.....you are not being rational at all I pointed out why your comparison was not valid or even closely correlated. Again one is a constitutional right the others are not. It's not hard to understand if you take out the emotional BS.

And again with the illogical training and certification....how was that going to stop a Criminally insane person?

Stop focusing on the Weapon and focus on the individual responsible and what led to this. Obtaining the weapons he used should not be infringed upon. How many thousands or even millions of 18 yr old's obtain AR15 and other self defense weapons and don't use them in heinous acts? I'd say it's close to 99% don't because mass shooting are rare and obscure incidents.

We need none of that at all. Again 13,000 violent gun deaths are a statistical zero. Why are you such a Fascist who wants to limit freedoms and rights over something that is not a threat to most American citizens.

I also think it's sort of a hoot to think that any of that is going to happen or even if it did that a underground weapons market wouldn't spring up in a heart beat. And the issue would be worst than ever with zero regulation or control. History proves this as The War on Drugs and Prohibition failed miserably.

Out of the near 400 million guns less than 1% are ever involved in a violent act. Why would we need less guns?

The Very Idea that you want the govt to dictate how I keep and secure my guns shows your true mental make up and it's scary that you believe that the govt should be able to invade my personal property and home and control my belongings. Next will it be how I secure my chainsaw and Propane tanks?

And you are correct nothing will be done or work.....because you can't control peoples behavior in a free Republic with inalienable rights coded into the fabric of that Republic.

I know you hate this with a passion as you want to limit and control the behavior of those who don't fall in line with your ideology. But unfortunately for you there are millions and millions of people who whole heartedly disagree with your belief system and goals. And fortunately for us the Constitution and the SC stands with the millions that disagree with you.

LOL how do you "shoot a door out" with a .223??? With secure doors (no windows, how dumb do you need to get?? Eventually you might be able to do enough damage to the lock to get it to come out but it would just probably jam the mechanism

The 2-3 minutes that it would take for this to happen would be plenty of time for 3-4 armed administrators to engage the threat and take them down.

Lets say you take away every semi automatic weapon in the country, then what stops someone from tucking a .357 magnum revolver in each pocket, walking into a classroom and killing 15-20 kids with good old fashion revolvers. Or what stops them from going to lowes and getting some 2" pipe and tossing a pipe bomb in a classroom??

Nothing you have proposed is ever going to happen, you want attitude changes that would take decades to ever bring about, how many years is it going to take to confiscate 350 million guns in this country??

I have grandkids in school and it scares me to death. Today is the last day of school, If I was in charge before the start of school in August we would have new heavy doors and locks in every doorway in every school and every administrator would be armed and trained plus a full time security guard staffing the one door to get into each building. I dont care if we have to secure the perimeter with concertina and Claymores we can keep them out

You should be more scared that your grandkids get killed by a car accident or on a bike or crossing the street than a mass shooting at their school.

A lot of rights didn’t make the list. The founding fathers knew this. Thus the 9th Amendment.

I am.

Still don't think an 18yo should be able to purchase this much firepower. Do you really think that this is sustainable? Does the NRA want to lower the age to 13 or 14 to get the freshmen and sophmores involved too? Lot more sales to the early teens..$$$
