The Dora/St E game will be a great one, really interested in seeing how it shakes out. I think whichever team imposes it’s will to get the tempo they want/need will prevail. Hopefully St E doesn’t try getting into an up and down game though. After watching Dora, I think that’d favor them without question. I was impressed with their ability to not only drive and finish, but moreso their ability to drive with the sole purpose of pulling a defender and making the right pass for an easy layup. Can tell they’ve played a LOT of ball together, high basketball IQs. Think St E needs to work it to the big man constantly. Should never be a possession where he doesn’t get a touch. That’s not to say everything needs to be scored in the paint (they have shooters), but those shooters get great looks when the D collapses on Struemph and he makes the right pass. St E has some real depth too. Not just ‘wont hurt ya if you gotta give him 12 minutes’ depth, but quality players coming off the bench with more size and scoring ability. Think one kid scored 18ish off the bench in that last game. Hit 4 or 5 threes missing one if I remember right.

Anyways, hopefully the officials let em play and there isn’t any foul trouble. Would love to see the players decide what should be one helluva game. As much as I wanna take St E, I worry about their ability to get stops. Oh to hell with it, defense be damned.....I’m taking St E in a CLOSE one.

Don't know what ICC has, but they are 41-4 on the year (crazy how many games you can play in Arkansas) and playing for a state championship on Friday night.

So far very good game. Haney has hit a few shots. And St. E bigs have not got going. We are in for a good second half and finish.

Anybody get to watch this game? How much time did Struemph spend on the bench in foul trouble?

Stat that jumps out to me is the fact Dora’s ‘non-Haney’ players shot 17-25.....that’s crazy efficient and tough to beat. Look forward to getting to watch this one online.

Just because a team has lots of kids on the bench, it doesn't mean the team has lots of players. There is a difference.
Or they let their JV kids dress for a game in a State Tourney.

There can be kids on the bench who never play because they dont deserve to but when you only play 5 kids they will get tired. They have another game today. All I am saying is with 8 kids on the bench I think a few of them could of got in the game for a min or 2 just to give the starters a breather. Heck they have a 6'6 kid who never plays a 6'2 kid who according to the season stats has played some started a few games but didnt get in the game. Dora played 8 kids I believe and you could tell. St.E looked like they were tired.

The Struemph spent most of the 1st half and part of the 3rd did well in the 4th qtr and ot after they started trading offense for defense

He had 15 at the end of 3 when Dora had 44 points. He fouled out when they had 47, so it was 15-18.

Dora may not win it all this year. But I’d bet on them the next 2 years for sure. Returning the whole starting 5, my money would go on them, if I was a betting man.
