Not sure where Helias sits at after they lost their QB a couple of weeks ago. Defense is still good but just not as dynamic on offense. The backup is coming along nicely, but he is only a Sophomore. Won't get a real test until districts to know how they will stack up.

No one will come out of the KC area unless it just sets up that way in the brackets.

Class 1 is a smaller than the other classes. Missouri media voting which is run by prepskc with concurrence of all of the 9 voting members agreed to this.
This is the coaches poll and is not affiliated with PrepsKC. That is an entirely different poll.

It's a media poll, voted on by a handful of people that watch their local team(s), if that. Fortunately, It has no bearing on anything. Don't lose sleep over it.
Not losing any sleep over it. Just think it is inconsistent and illogical. Plus this is the coaches poll, not the media poll.

Missouri Media football rankings

Statewide high school football rankings, as compiled by a 9-member panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. First-place votes in parenthesis. Panel is made up of Dion Clisso, PrepsKC; Cole Young, PrepsKC; Tom Rackers, Jefferson City News-Tribune; Chris Parker, Ozone Sports; Joe Andrews, Warrensburg Star Journal; Tommy Rezac, KFEQ St. Joseph; J.B. Connoley, KRES radio; Clay Herrell, SEMOball.com; Jim Powers, PrepsSportsSTL.com

It is the media poll. I usually cut the header off.

LOL....using scores from games where they were missing 7 starters and using a 3rd string jv qb.

You have to use an equivalent team to get the right score, which would be 38-7 Kearney with the starters playing.
You are the calpreps boy.

To be fair, you'd keep it somewhat close this year.

The transfer D1 O-Lineman should help some. Will this be game 3 for him?

Not sure the whole story. Just noticed a new left tackle in a game a couple weeks ago and remembered the name. His older brother originally committed to Illinois a few years ago. Was he hurt at the beginning of the year and thats why he wasn't playing?

No that would not be pretty.
Indeed.
Joey might make another 15 usernames to match his new excuses.

You guys don't give the 'smaller' class teams enough credit.
If they have the depth, they can absolutely hang with some larger schools.
And small schools for sure can have better individual talent.
