Let’s go Brandon

While I highly respect Reagan and what he did.....his one time amnesty was a ignorant move and very short sighted huge failure on his part. He should of worked harder to fix he Problem and to seal the Boarders. Again a Huge mistake.

Not real sure why you are bringing up a policy from 30+ years ago and it's failings. K. Harris and this administration has decades of past failures to learn from and to make a real effort to seal the boarders to illegals and to increase Legal immigration.

Of course it is clear their real agenda is to just PR spin stuff and to gut the previous policies put into place. And to do nothing to address the problem.

I said they are trying and it looks like for the most part they are.
CBO estimates that enacting this legislation would result in a net increase in the deficit totaling $367 billion over the 2022-2031 period, not counting any additional revenue that may be generated by additional funding for tax enforcement.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the funding for tax enforcement activities provided by the bill would increase outlays by $80 billion and revenues by $207 billion, thus decreasing the deficit by $127 billion, through 2031. That change in revenues is not included in CBO’s estimate of the budgetary effects of the Build Back Better Act.

So about $240 billion difference?
I said trying to pay for it, and that is a lot closer than the Republicans ever did.

They also said if the IRS does their job that total will come down a lot or even disappear.
