Lamar 28 - Fair Grove 25 (FINAL)

woo hoo ric flair GIF
I believe if you consult Bosko, this is my thing☝️😉

Those two red zone turnovers really cost Fair Grove.

Congrats to Lamar on a hard fought win. They definitely impressed.

Congrats to FG on a heck of a season. Probably the best and most complete team FG has or ever will have.

Teams met at the 50 after the plaques were handed out and had a prayer.

Take notes Ritter and CBC, that’s called sportsmanship.

Great career-capper for #10. I can’t imagine the frustration he probably felt this season not being able to perform and play due to injury. He’s a great HS football player. #53 and #23 are tremendous DL. 53s effort sideline to sideline from a down lineman spot is extremely rare.

#86, 7, 44 and others for FG are all studs. 86 probably should have gotten the ball even more if that’s possible.

Co-MVP are #10 and Binoculars man.

Thanks Chaotic for this play-by-play.
Your welcome. I have no problem with lamar winning, they earned it. Was just hoping FG would finally get one. They had so much senior talent this year at every skill position and on the line. The cupboard won’t be bare next year but it’ll be a heck of a lot thinner than it was this year.

Yes thank you! I listened to the stream on the jock but kept my eyes on your post.

For those who don’t want to read, one of the highlights of the article is that Kellen Lair (Fair Grove APB) was found walking on Kearney Street at like 2AM or so in the morning in nothing but his underwear when he was 2 years old with a broken foot that had healed the wrong direction.
Biological father shot and killed and mother died of an overdose.

EXTREMELY thank you!

Well I should get a co-MVP for picking against you in ChaoticFanatics pick em.

My picks are always wrong this year.
Come to Lamar after the bus gets back. You can tie your laces together and throw your shoes over the goalposts.

Lamar’s win was the first for I-49…. If Adrian, Archie, and Seneca can follow, the newest interstate will have had quite a year.

I’ve seen this FG play both in person on a few occasions over the last few years and online and I will say, I was surprised at how much bigger they were than Lamar.

Lamar outworked them in the first half for sure, but it ended up being a very even battle in the second half once FG got going.
You guys were the best FG I’ve seen.

They weren’t my guys necessarily but I’ve been following them closely the last few years and was able to go to their season opener last year and the QF and Semis last year at Tolton and at Valle.
Was only able to get to 1 game this year in person though unfortunately.

Couldn’t be prouder of them though.
