It's not wrong, but not entirely accurate to include St. Michael the Archangel since the constituent schools that combined to create it won several championships in several sports, including football.

Lafayette County 1. 2023 Class 2 Girls Cross Country Champs as of 30 minutes ago. Also of note, of the top 4 schools in Class 1 and 2, only North Platte, who finished 4th in Class 2 fields a football team.

Probably not since CC is ran in football season. Since they don't play football you can't related their times to football speed.

If we are being honest, they should start basketball in January, have it go through mid April, then have spring sports be Mid-April to early June when weather doesnt suck.

I would just move it two weeks and would start in December. Push it back so that season starts after football playoffs are done. Most teams are done before that and should start practicing and not waiting around. If you start in January, you would either have too much time between seasons or just have two months with just practicing. Neither situation would be good.

That sounds like a them problem, not a me problem... See I'm already falling well into my role as King of MSHSAA.
