I Miss Duck

@bullitpdq68 Awhile back you said something about the Trumpers not posting on here anymore. Were you suggesting that Duck was a closet Trumper? ☺️

He's probably hiding from embarrassment after seeing this moronic, failed administration he fought so hard to get in. I'd hide too after watching the fiasco at the border. We were going to Cancun and were told we'd have to be COVID tested to get back in the states all the while the doors are open to thousands of COVID infected illegals being flown all over the country by our government. I'd hide after watching a president with obvious aging mental problems that can't make a speech without humiliating himself. I'd hide after ignorant anti-energy policies have raised the price of gas over a dollar a gallon in less than a year and destroyed thousands of jobs. This is causing the rise of the overall cost of living. I'd hide after helping get Biden elected after he told us he was going to raise our taxes, which he is pushing hard for. I'd hide from the absurd foreign policies Biden has gone back to. I'd really hide (from the God he claims to know and from embarrassment) after reinstituting policies to support the murder of the unborn including making tax payers, again, pay for abortions. I'd hide after backing the lying narrative of CRT. Yep, thank you Duck and everyone else that got us in to this laughable fiasco. Our country is way better now than under Trump ;)

Lol

I just looked and the unemployment rate is 5.9% which is higher than in May, I'd be watching the inflation rate as well. And of course there is a surplus of vax's......I mean those who are going to take it have done so, making more is laughable at this juncture. Making more vax's than necessary a product that has a shelf life of 6 months frozen is no big feat. That is pure propaganda to tout up having a surplus of something that is now not needed and will probably be wasted to make Biden look better than Trump the Guy who fast tracked the vax in historic fashion..

And touting up a 1 trillion dollar infrastructure Bill that of course will be a epic gov. failure as all of the last bills have been is sad. And let's not even get into the 3.5 trillion dollar budget spending package that is tied to BS poverty and climate policies and of course these will be ushered in with only Democratic approval needed.

Trump Spent like a Drunken sailor on Payday......Biden spends like a entitled wine mom after a week of doing nothing and being bored, while her husband earns the Cash that she spends.

Of course there will be no waste or grift in any of these bills.....you know the Roads/Bridges/Ports/Water works and Railroads will all be overhauled in a efficient manner LOL. And of course Climate Change will end and Poverty will be erased....I mean FDR and LBJ already did that didn't they with all their previous entitlement programs for doing nothing.

Nothing has changed in D.C. spend other peoples money and worship at the alter of throwing money at a issue and then patting yourself on the back for doing so as the masses gobble up the feel good propaganda.

I guess you haven't noticed that vaccinations are UP since the latest surge caused by those who are NOT vaccinated. Some folks in the hospital with covid are asking for it but can't get it unless they live long enough to get over it first.

How have his energy policies raised the price of gas? Which of his policies have even taken affect yet? The price of gas went up because the OPEC crazies can't figure what to do with their oil production. As long as they fight between themselves oil/gas prices will bounce all over the place and our president can't do gang thang about it.

Biden isn't directly to blame for the increase....but without a doubt Biden policies and plans have effected the geopolitical outlook and the result is a reactionary price increase of fuel. Baking in his Climate goals into Policies and trying to obtain zero carbon emissions by 2050 has a effect on everything that makes a modern civilization what it is.

Consumer prices rose 5 percent in May. Gas prices clearly effect the working class more than the Suburban rich. 20 more dollars a fill up a week adds up to near a 100 dollars less in the pockets of may a folks. Higher fuel prices effect the Economic outlook of the average Citizen.

I mean shutting down the Keystone Line is going to end up a PR nightmare as we are producing near 500K less barrels of Oil at home than in 2019. Stopping near a million barrels of oil a day from entering the U.S. market is strange. We need more oil and fuel not less.

I'd say Biden is in for a long harsh Fall and Winter......I have already started seeing articles that are Trying to mitigate out Biden's involvement.... we will see if the propaganda is strong enough in the eye's of the public to stem the tide.

You do know big oil wanted the pipeline completed so it would be easier to get oil to the cost so they could EXPORT more of it!! You talk about not believing News but you are willing to believe BIG OIL companies and their lies they spin? You think Big Oil wants todo something that will reduce the cost of oil? Whatever they like it when prices go up, profit goes up!!

According to its own secret documents submitted to the Canadian government, TransCanada expects the pipeline to increase gas prices in the Midwest by up to 15 cents per gallon. Currently, a surplus of gas in the region means that our prices stay stable. If the pipeline is built oil companies will be able to send their product to the Gulf coast for export, which will reduce this surplus and drive up costs for Midwestern consumers.

TransCanada has put almost all of its eggs in the KXL basket for one simple reason—that’s the only realistic way to sell its product overseas. Another company, Enbridge (which was responsible for a million gallon spill in Michigan last summer) is attempting to build a 730 mile “Northern Gateway” pipeline to Canada’s west coast, but it has stalled due to strong opposition from indigenous communities along its path. Any western route would face decades of litigation, The real danger is to be found in projects like Tar sands development leaves an enormous scar on the boreal forest at this site near Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada Enbridge’s “Seaway reversal” and TransCanada’s proposed “Cushing extension” which would take oil from Oklahoma down to the Gulf coast for export.

No Biden policy on oil has had time to have any affect on our gas prices. The most recent oil/ gas price hike is entirely on OPEC!!! Great time for our governor to add a gas tax that has been voted down by the PEOPLE of this state several times so he just does it on his own when gas is higher that it's been for a long time.

Nobody wants to pay more taxes and I’m sure there are different ways to fund road and bridge improvements. I’m not a big fan of our Governor but look up and see the Dems that help push this through

We've needed it for a long, we're way down the list of gas tax in the 50 states, but they lost me when I voted the last one we passed. They said it would be used for a 15 year plan and what the plan was. After only 5 years they said the money wasn't there for the 15 year plan and slashed the list of projects they would do. That didn't show me they could plan anything beyond about 6 months.

I know all about how the Oil is dirty and how tar sand oil is more expensive....but it's going to get moved to the market one way or another probably by rail and it's more expensive and dangerous to do so.
And the more Oil in the Market is a good thing because long term the price will decrease we want a over surplus of Oil and Fuel to drive the market down. I don't care if it's Dirty oil or about the Indigenous communities or some random oil spills that mother earth will filter out. Eventually we will need to use all available fossil fuels to create energy. Shipping it over sea's makes Profit for Big Oil which is good and if enough oil is in the market again the price will eventually go down and stabilize.

I don't buy the BS coming from the NRDC some left wing Environmental group or the National Wild life federation either. They even claim in a slanted way that most but not all of the Oil will go overseas. I trust Environmental groups less than Big Oil. I have no doubt that big oil is going to make a profit off this line but that is OK that is their business.

I do take a bit of stock in the fact that Midwest refineries have exclusive access to that oil at this time but even if they are by passed in the short term... long term More Oil globally means more supply that could outpace demand.

Again This oil will get moved one way or another....Probably by Rail Trucks and Ships...to China and other Asian countries and to their dirtier refineries. So as far as environmentally it will be a Net Loss. I guess we will lose out on about 5 billion in infrastructure infusion as well. The estimate is around 11,000 jobs directly and around 60 thousand indirectly have been lost.

That's how Gov. always works at the state level it's bad.....At the Federal level it is criminal.

Well I am part owner in some oil wells lucky me and my Native American Mineral rights.

When prices fall we shut down our wells we only pump if the price hits a certain level, even right now we are not producing at full capacity I think they told us 20%...why because we are told prices should go higher as demand increases and product slack is removed from the market as demand increases. And at the prices we are getting we only need to pump at a certain level.
And every year we get a report looking forward as to what gas and oil futures will look like. And basically, it said that no matter who won the election they expected gas and Oil prices to go up pretty much the same because we would be opening our economy back up, and demand would increase!! Not because of policy. Now I am sure eventually if the DEMS stay in power, they could control the oil prices…It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. And really no matter what the Dems want Oil is never going away, it just doesn’t power our vehicles, it also paves our roads it is in many of the products we build.. including Solar panels and Wind Turbines. Again we get that in our reports... It is foolish to think Oil and drilling will ever be a thing of the past. However, no matter what people believe there is only so much oil...I do believe we need to be more efficient with what we have and we do need to be more environmentally friendly when drilling and when building pipelines. Do you think it benefits me if we increase the miles per gallon that a car gets oh hell no.. I want to see cars getting 5 miles per gallon lets see that demand skyrocket!!! And, I don't disagree with you that we have to transport it...we always will but doesn't mean we can't be selective in how we do it and the routes we take. I know my parents owned 200 acres when I was a kid, and during that time we had a pipeline come thru the land, my parents along with all the neighbors tried to fight it, basically they wanted them to take a more freindly route when cutting thru the farms not stop it, so as not to cut up the land so bad but they didn’t care they went where was the easiest for them.

Now I also don't disagree with what you say about dirty oil, but if that is all you got out of what I posted I can't help you.... All I was trying to say is Big Oil spends a lot of money to spin PR in thier favor be it the building of a pipeline to expanding drilling rights into protected areas. And they do that by scaring you that if we don’t build these pipelines or let us drill what you pay at the pump will go up and the government is BAD!!! All the while right now we have more than enough wells available to us to meet our needs currently!! Even with Oil as high as it is there are many Oil wells idle in Oklahoma and Texas remember I told you ours is pumping around 20%....you know why because it keeps prices high!! It is better for the Oil companies and thier profits!!

Again your beliefs come from someplace just like mine and who you chose to believe is who you chose… I really don’t care honestly it benefits me more if you chose to believe the oil companies PR SPIN because I profit more and I love it when those huge checks roll in each quarter!! I think about all those SUV drivers and MPG every time I jump in my pool, (again thank you) I don't want to see miles per gallon increased...I just purchased 100 acres and I would love to see that pipeline completed that would open up whole new market for our oil yep easier to transport to the coast so we could sell overseas, something about our oil is easy to refine? I don't know I don't get into all of that. But yeah keep the MPG low I am wanting to build a new home!!

So...what you’re saying is the idea of his policies (whether correct or not) make private and corporate business leaders make individual decisions that play on the emotions of traders (a known volatile group) and buyers, and their decisions are ultimately to blame for prices jumping?

Oil will go away, there is no question about that. Obviously not in our lifetimes and not for a good amount of time, but it is an inevitability. However, I’m all for hedonism; the spice (oil) must flow.

Good report bullit. Americans love their big rides.

I'm more optimistic like r14. Look how far we have advanced in the past 100, 200, 300 years. I believe the gas engine vehicles will become obsolete. We'll all be zipping through the skies with power packs strapped on!!!

You know think about this, Had it not been for the goverment forcing us off our old TV's and analog where would our TV's and digital gadgets such as smart phones be today. By doing that we now have 4k TV we have better and faster internet due to the old analog spectrum being freed up and being resold. Sometimes we the consumers don't always make the best decisions... Sometimes we have to be shown there is a better way. And the Goverment had to step in and force that because TV stations were not going to the better technolgy on thier own....

Sometimes we as Americans make the easy choice the comfortable choice and sometimes others make that choice for us and we don't know any better and just agree to go along for the ride.
So sometimes somebody be it the goverment has to step in and go hey just because this is the way we have always done it doesn't mean this is the way we should do it. Not saying I always want it that way but sometimes it needs to be that way.

REmember when Smoking was cool and Joe the Camal told all little kids that....

I never said his policies had the effect.....the idea of his policies drive the market. This is pretty much how it always goes. Thus the increase it's not a coincidence that not long after he took office that prices jumped.
Flat out BS, the price went up because the OPEC countries were in meetings about production and couldn't agree what to do and they all left. Biden's planned policies had NO affect on those folks fighting among themselves over production levels.

I guess you haven't noticed that vaccinations are UP since the latest surge caused by those who are NOT vaccinated. Some folks in the hospital with covid are asking for it but can't get it unless they live long enough to get over it first.
I guess the 684,000 folks that got vaccinated in the last 24 hours didn't know that everyone that wanted it had already got it.

I was going to say, I've had a lot of friends and family just now getting vaccinated. It has really hit SWMO hard.

So...what you’re saying is the idea of his policies (whether correct or not) make private and corporate business leaders make individual decisions that play on the emotions of traders (a known volatile group) and buyers, and their decisions are ultimately to blame for prices jumping?
I say they weaponize those policies for profit.....partly out of greed partly out of fear of the market.

I don't buy hook line and sinker what Big oil spins and put's out. I know that Environmental groups basically lie about everything......they are zealots.
I as well understand how supply and demand and market manipulation can artificially increase profits. My point was that long term more oil in the market would stabilize prices. Of course the cartel of oil works hard to fight the free market. As you clearly pointed out. Having more oil in the market is never a bad thing for the consumer.

Oil will go away, there is no question about that. Obviously not in our lifetimes and not for a good amount of time, but it is an inevitability. However, I’m all for hedonism; the spice (oil) must flow.
Yes it must....Frank Herbert was a prophet....it is a finite product and will ruin out but yes we have zero alternative now. All though Google and some other scientist did produce a time crystal or so they claim their papers have not been peer review. If that is the case.....yeah watch out.

Sure the most powerful country in the Worlds Top Leader and his parties policies had zero effect on OPEC at all. Those policies didn't effect or sway the opinion of OPEC leaders in any way. Nope it is all just infighting about production based on their biases. I mean there is no way that our Oil Companies production, our environmental policies, going carbon free by 2030, a new Federal Tax credit for electric cars that impact MPG and that could reduce oil use......NOPE none of that was even broached or thought about by the leaders of OPEC.

They just met and like the simple minded people you clearly believe they are just couldn't decide on production levels, so meeting adjourned. I mean how could the policies of the Worlds Largest consumer of Petroleum even factor into their decisions. You clearly have convinced me that what America does and our Policies have no effect on the Price of Oil and it's production.

You know that around 190 million are vaxed and about 100 million are not....700k is not a huge dent in the percentage of unvaxed people. Sure this Delta variant being a bit more deadly and contagious has got a few of the fence sitters off their backsides, but the hard core will die on the Hill of being unvaxxed as is their right.

I personally have talked Several people into getting vaxed since August. At least 6 people. And these are College Educated Professionals.

I want everyone to vax....but with that said I am not going to berate, shame or chastises those who don't want to. The VAX/Masker Zealots who are cultish to a degree basically have caused a line to be drawn in the sand.

I just tell people logically it makes no sense not to vax unless you have a medical reason. And point out why and the Risk and dangers compared to the overwhelming benefits....and I also stress that it's your decision and your right not to. Nobody, not even the Gov. should force you to inject a substance in your body that you do not want. That at the end of the day it's your choice as it should be.

To bad that the Approach of the Cult is to attack, Fearmonger and bully the unvaxed. That usually leads to resistance.

I was going to say, I've had a lot of friends and family just now getting vaccinated. It has really hit SWMO hard.
My Ex-inlaws and their extended family tried to talk my Children out of getting vaxed and where 100% against it, thank goodness they listened to me......then the EX inlaws and extended family got the C19D and it ran wild in their circle and they are all now waiting to get vaxed and some have even signed up for the Delta infusion.

But I'm oddly weirded out by how even in the Medical community it's still a divide. I know a Nurse Practitioner and her Husband a Surgeon and they won't let their daughter take it and she is now old enough. My EX's Nephrologist is a hard no for her but her Family Practice Doctor wants her to. And Hospital wide where I work 40% of RN's are unvaxed. My buddy who has his Doctorate in Pharmacy got his first shot and had a horrible reaction, which can happen and now he can't take the second ever. So he is now on the fence about people taking it.

Yeah I'm still 100% against the gov. doing what they did.....that was really the gov. being lobbied and manipulated by Big tech. so they could move forward and have a product that was cheaper to produce, more reliable and would generate them more profits. I don't care about the side benefits in the short term it should of played out at a normal pace....the Market and the Consumer should dictate all of this at the pace of consumption. For every hit there is a lot of Misses when the gov. reacts this way.....metric system, ObamaCare, National Speed limit of 55 I could go on.... I'm not interested in the suppression of Individual rights for the betterment of society....that is a slippery slope. And really the Joe Camal thing was Cool.....now it's all about Vapes or Left handed Cigs, or massive Energy Drink consumption. So yeah that was just another fail. But they all pat themselves on the back and say we did a good job.

Also I don't advocate for anyone to smoke or vape....but if you want to it's your right and the Gov. should get out of the social engineering business.Smoking it's harmful and deadly if overdone and most people overdo it, so I suggest not doing it unless it's a Good Cigar or a Pipe Full of Plum Pudding tobacco and you are sipping on some Quit Man or JD.

I'm not sure how priorities are set but two of the top have been bypassed in this discussion.
1. Our border is in crisis. The mayor of McAllen TX is fit to be tied. over 1500 COVID plagued illegals are going through his town PER WEEK! This is just one place. Biden could solve this easily.
2. The most important, the very government people that are so worried about people dying of COVID push for the tax payers to pay to murder babies through abortion. The only populace that cannot stand up for themselves are being slaughtered by the thousands and Biden & Co. want it to be paid for. Anyone who supports this is insane. It is the modern day holocaust. Roe vs Wade would have never been passed if they had our modern medical technology.
Until these are addressed there are few other issues to throw up. Every discussion takes second stage. If there is a reason to be ashamed for voting in this current administration this is it.
And for all who ask, "you mad bro", everyone should be.

Your numbers don't go with the percentages I'm seeing and hearing about. We just went over 50% vaxed. YOU said everyone that wanted one already had it, you were dead wrong AND that's pretty big number for where were before people figured this thang is bad and if you don't get the shots it's REAL bad and it's affecting much younger people too.
