Saw on MoTeachingJobs that Crane has an opening for a Jr high head and assistant football coach starting next school year. They starting football?

Yes they are starting football, that was some of the talk when conference realignment was going. on... Was happy when they started building a facility they can call home.

They would be Class 1. Even though they took a big jump this year their MSHSAA number is only 124

I would have thought Spokane would have been the next but sometimes its takes a not obvious one to get the ball rolling.

I would have thought Sparta until they decided to go east into the Summit Conference with the likes of Seymour, Conway, Hartsville, etc.

Several years ago there were rumblings of Spokane starting a football team, they even have a field made for it, but never got more then building the track and that was it.

If this ball gets rolling, so to speak, and all these schools go gridiron, it is going to cut down the fall baseball quality in the area immensely. I know some on here could be disappointed.
