Anyone knows what happened with Grandview??
it was "Pending board approval"...
Also a twitter account is no longer active.
Draw from that what you will.

So dude that got the job was opposed to BLM?I heard this as well... It's the case of an old tweet post resurfacing. I guess he was against a certain movement... Not sure what happens now? Grandview just opens the job back up and reinterviews everyone? What happens to the coach who was "given then job"?
I am not on twitter so I did not see the tweet post, but heard that was the basis of it yes.So dude that got the job was opposed to BLM?
School of the Osage is open....has been for a while but just posted today.
Wife took an assistant Supe job in another district. It's a step up for the family.Interesting development since he is an alum, wife is the principal and FIL was AD there for many years.

Chillicothe is now open. Coach is moving to be closer to his parents, which have some health issues.
Good coach and will be missed. It is best for their family.Makes total sense then.
Not sure what the district can do? Same thing with other storied programs, the talent may not be there. There comes a time when all good things must drop some. Will be interesting to see what happens in Chillicothe. That program has lost a lot of luster in the past 2 decades, but I would think would still be an attractive job for someone. Football is definitely still important to the community, but is the district willing to do what it takes to succeed on the field?
True. And like other storied programs, a reliance on what worked 30 or 40 years ago may contribute to the drop. Not sure what the district can do? Same thing with other storied programs, the talent may not be there. There comes a time when all good things must drop some.
A district can support what needs to be done to be successful. For instance, I've worked in districts that would frown upon (or flat out not allow) Sunday practices or holding athletes accountable for not being at a practice (or game, for that matter) over a holiday break. Obviously this is basketball and not football, but the point remains...some districts are okay handling the tougher conversations and pushback from parents and community members, and some are not. Everybody wants to win, not everyone is willing to do the things you need to do to win. A good part of that is getting support from administration. Not sure what the district can do? I have been in districts that do not allow Sunday practices and we had to be out of the gym by 6 pm on Wednesdays as well. It did not affect the winning side of our program. I just think districts are getting a bad rep for not supporting a program when they are not winning. Other programs in the districts seem to do good.A district can support what needs to be done to be successful. Keep in mind that at one time Chillicothe had an enrollment of over 800. Now, adding in all 4 classes, it is about 550.Not sure what the district can do? Same thing with other storied programs, the talent may not be there. There comes a time when all good things must drop some.
Where is the coach from?Chillicothe is now open. Coach is moving to be closer to his parents, which have some health issues.
I wasn't talking about any program in particular. But if you don't think a district that seriously limits practice time or doesn't support coaches holding players accountable for being at practice or games, you've had a lot more talent than most around you. It all plays into culture. I've coached at places where varsity players miss games because of travel over Christmas vacation. I've also coached at places that you hold an optional shoot around on Dec 26th and 15/15 kids show. Culture can set the expectation. Hard to have that without support from above.I have been in districts that do not allow Sunday practices and we had to be out of the gym by 6 pm on Wednesdays as well. I believe his parents live in St Louis area.Coach Tim Rulo was a head coach at Jeff City Helias and South Calloway, not near St. Louis.
She will be Assistant Superintendent at Owensville. He has accepted the High School principal job in St. James.Makes total sense then.
I try to update when I hear anything or see stuff posted but not often enoughHow often does this get updated?
Capitol City is open. Coach Jolley is heading back to School of the Osage. Per Rod Smith at KRCG
