Tonight's sectionals C1-3

I don't really follow C1 so will defer other than I always like Jefferson in this neck of the woods.

C2 Plattsburg at Maysville is a MAJOR one tonight will try to tune in at NWMOInfo.com

C3 NWMO like East Buchanan and Summit Christian Academy by double digits setting up a great Quarterfinal.

Out of region C3 watch NMCC at Charleston. New Madrid should win but the latter is a renowned Boys BB program they host and won't go down easily.

MSHSAA Postseason Format

Here is an interesting consequence of the new format of MSHSAA Postseason Basketball. St. Elizabeth Girls will be playing at Cairo which is 1:40 north. St. Elizabeth Boys will be at Sheldon which is 2:45 West. Under the old format, they would have been playing on the same night most likely together at a neutral site. So instead of probably at most 2 hours on the road for one night, their fans will be on the road for 8 hours and 50 minutes over two nights. And that is if they don’t stop for gas, bathroom breaks or for other reasons.

Higginsville....

Always a tough place to play, the Huskers took to the road to face St. Paul Lutheran in Concordia on Thursday night, getting to play only 1 game out of 3 that were scheduled, due to snowmageddon '24. The Husker boys and gals got a rare sweep on the evening, gals winning by 10, 44-34, and the boys won 63-55. The Saints boys held leads on the Huskers at various points all night. Saints were up at halftime, and held a late lead as well.
