Word of Xi's visit comes as Washington has said China is considering providing weapons for Russia's war in Ukraine, a move that would threaten to escalate the conflict into a confrontation between Russia and China on the one side and Ukraine and the U.S.-led NATO military alliance on the other.

Biden issued a warning to China yesterday about providing weapons to Ukraine.

I don't like where this is going.

This is huge. Ukraine has been begging NATO countries for fighter jets. Poland's statement that they are ready to send MIGs to Ukraine is a major step for Ukraine's ability to fight Russian air strikes. Russian bombing of cities and power structures is devastating Ukraine with damage and morale. NATO countries have been reluctant to send jets for fear of an escalation of war and the possibility that Ukraine will use the jets to attack inside Russian territory, further drawing the alliance into the war.

I'm glad Poland is stepping up instead of it always being the US taking the lead with military aid. If we are going to continue increasing our military assistance to Ukraine, I expect every NATO country to put in their pound of flesh.

We are hosting our 3rd Annual Summer Contact Team Camp this summer at Lamar High School. The dates are scheduled for July 27-28th (could be a 1 day depending on interest). We are looking to get 4-6 teams this summer if possible. Information is attached.

When is mshsaa going to decide/announce what changes are going to take place. If Missouri high schools are really going to start playoffs in week 9 I would think schools would need to know for scheduling. Same thing for how the classes are going to be broken down. Or, are we going same as last year in 2023 before there are changes?

Do they always mute coaches comments after a while?
