How many schools are in a smaller class in basketball than football?

I could be wrong, but DeSmet seems to have been Class 6 in football for quite some time, but they’re class 5 in basketball… a sport with more teams and statewide participation?

Is it just the success factor or something that is keeping them 6 in football? Because the private multiplier would factor in for all sports

Looking at the state title winners in boys basketball, has anyone been as successful as (Historically Vacated) and their seven "second place" finishes?

Our political process hit quite a low last night. We went from grandpa Joe yelling at us all jacked up on whatever they shot him full of to sleepy joe who didn’t know where he was going as the meds wore off to Katie lecturing us from her kitchen about how bad these other people are. Doesn’t seem like either message resonated with moderates who will decide this election. Anyone who was impressed by either speech should go back and try to look at it from an undecided voters opinion and it was embarrassing. Both had a chance to change the narrative and instead it was more of the same.

Entering tonight's SEC conference tournament with optimism and confidence because after-all, "You play...to win...the game", but let's be realistic, the Tigers are 3 pt underdogs and the '23 - '24 conference experience was well, uh, rough? The over/under: I'm not talking about total points, but that's 147 if you're into that sorta thing. No, I'm talking about the number of Tigers that hit the door 72 hrs after the last game of the season. I have not followed PowerMizzou and Gabe DeArmond, honestly I lost interest in the team about midway through the season, so I'm not up on the rumor mill. I don't want to hear, "But Gates has the best recruiting class in the nation coming in". Nope, I'm placing the over/under on the number of guys that announce they're hitting the portal within 72 hrs of the final tick of the clock and the backboard light coming on. (Save some of you the math, that's 3 days) Here you go...

Should be the best girls game of this first Final Four C4-6 day. LFL is my ongoing Title favorite but Chilli is one of the best teams never mind class in NWMO.

As pretty much expected (experience factor). Got to see only the 4th qtr. Rebels were in total control.

My pre-Final Four favorite vs. the team I am beyond shamelessly rooting for! Can this one match the first semi?

I'm at work so this will be kinda spotty. Observations so far: Both teams cold from outside but Marshfield did get the one 3 of that quarter. It is the Final Four so everyone here is excellent but really impressed with Marshfield boy do they bring back some great Girls BB memories (late 80s in particular).

Working as I am "should" have things lined out well enough here to watch most of this one. Both are 4 loss teams but the schedules are night and day. Interesting C4 note LSC lost to Lift for Life while Smithville lost twice to Chillicothe. That one I have slated as the matchup of this day tips circa 8 PM tonight.

I saw some interviews today of people who attended Trump’s rally in Georgia.

These people believe whole heartedly that the 2020 election was stolen, there were shenanigans all across the country and that Trump has proof of it.

Millions of people are convinced of this.
They aren’t going to trust the outcome if he loses in 2024. He has personally damaged this country more than any government official ever.

Reminder: he paid a company $750,000 to investigate and find the fraud for him. And they found zilch.

C5: John Burroughs vs. Marshfield (should be JB but don't be shocked if its single digits)
Lutheran St. Charles vs. Smithville (much as I love SVille especially that Wohlford kid LSC should roll)

C6: Cor Jesu vs. Kickapoo (Poo maybe by a whole bunch)
IWA vs. Rock Bridge (RB is a superlative public program like Poo but my God this is HSBB's UConn it won't be close at all)

Commences with Vianney vs. Jeff City at 2 PM followed by DeSmet vs. Winnetonka at 4 PM. Will peek at the former as work permits will do my level best to make it home in time for the latter and will post scores by quarter at a minimum.
