Best Missouri QBs Coming out of High School in history?

Some others I saw when they played in HS

Drew Newhart(Cameron)- threw for over 10,000 yards at Missouri Western, probably the best QB they’ve had this millennium. Pretty cool that he grew up and played HS ball about 20 min from there.
(Don’t know how I mentioned Cziernewski and not this guy, the game I saw was MoCo vs Cameron in the dome LOL)

Paxton DeLaurent(Camdenton)- regardless of his stats, the guy was very good at moving around the pocket, not tucking and running it, but moving around the pressure and getting the throw made.
I believe he’s the starter at SEMO now but I could be wrong.
Yes, he is still the starter and I believe he was FCS player of the week last week maybe? Another Camdenton QB that was an all-american and held the record (might still, not sure) for most consecutive completions for a long time is good ol coach Jeff Shore

Week 4 Rankings are out

really surprise Hannibal and Smithville didn’t drop. Hannibal has a loss to Helias by 10 points and loss to Troy by 6.

My top 5 for Class 4
1. Kearney
2. Lutheran North
3 Hillsboro, yes still have a losing record but look at the teams that lost too.
4. Hannibal
5. Smithville, Kirksville, or Warrenton
Hillsboro has lost to good schools, but they haven't beaten any.

SW/SCMO Pick Em’ Week 4

1. Nixa @ Carthage
2. Mt Vernon @ East Newton
3. West Plains @ Branson (not sure if this will be competitive, but a branson win would more than likely guarantee a piece of OMC Title)
4. Liberty(Mtn View) @ Ava
5. Sarcoxie @ Stockton
6. Lathrop @ Skyline
7. Miller @ Diamond
8. Kickapoo @ Republic
9. Pierce City @ Ash Grove
10. Helias Catholic @ Camdenton
11. Capital City @ Rock Bridge
12. Smith-Cotton @ Jefferson City
13. Southern Boone @ Boonville
14. Marceline @ Milan
15. Linn @ Missouri Military Academy
16. Eldon @ Osage
17. Windsor @ Tipton
18. Cuba @ Jefferson(Festus)

Only 9 area games this week. Had to supplement from other areas of the state to get more games that I though either were going to be or at least had the potential of being competitive. I’m sure some games I left out will prove to be competitive but who knows. Couldn’t even find any Northern Arkansas games that I thought would be good.
Week 5 up this way is really odd may be no NWCMO Game of the Week:

Nixa
Mt Vernon
Branson
Ava
Stockton
Lathrop
Miller
Republic
Pierce City
Helias Catholic
Capital City
Jefferson City
Southern Boone
Marceline
Linn
Osage
Tipton
Jefferson

Told ya I'm no good at this...............

Is it time? Is it time Webb City?

I know this is a football board but there is more to choosing where to live and send your kids than the football program. Out of 352 ranked HS’ in Mo, check out Kearney and Nixa. No Springfield public schools in the top 100. So if you are successful in the Springfield area and you want the best for your kids, where are you headed? Nixa or maybe Republic and steering clear of Central and HillCrest If you work in the Joplin area you are checking out WC (51) and CJ (61). Joplin High checks in at 170.
Nixa will be near the top of many COC activities for some time to come.

You have a link or a source for this? I'd love to look at the whole thing. Totally agree on your assessment of SWMO, btw.

Is it time? Is it time Webb City?

The other thing is Jr High sports in this new conf are terrible. Not because of Lebanon and waynesville but because of all the SPS middle schools.
Bingo! I know I throw shade at the “west” schools all the time, but I can honestly say it’s all performance art and in good fun. I respect those schools because of their small town/community/school values and the emphasis on athletics. SPS sub HS level sports are an absolute $hit show. And nobody seems to care. Bball is just as bad. Not even sure how football is still alive at that level in SPS. For as well managed as I believe their HS programs are, their non HS programs seem like an absolute mess.
