People move their kids to CJ for academics...not sportsWe have moved twice with school aged kids, and will once more before the youngest graduates. We have and will consider all of those, in some degree or another. Nothing against Joplin, Neosho, or CJ but if you’re moving to the Joplin area with kids and you don’t choose Webb or Carthage I’m just not sure you’re doing your research. It’s the same with Nixa/Ozark/Republic in the Springfield area (although I’d give Strafford and L-R a reasonable nod as well).
I can’t recall specific scenarios, but I do remember some local “moves” in Webbs past that certainly raised some eyebrows. I’m sure the Carthage folks could speak far more accurately than I could on those. I’m pretty sure that’s the sort of thing Cards is referring to.

That is a positive for any community. I think that happens in Republic and Nixa now.
Bixby is down this year. Lost to Owasso to open the 2024 season. They might have if nixa had hired someone internal instead of a big name with a resume.
I am just busting your balls. I just think it is pretty easy to be critical when it is Webb (or any other school), but when it is your school it wouldnt be so easy. But maybe you are the exception to the rule.Never claimed being a tough guy, but if you feel a certain type of way you can come have a conversation with me any Friday night. I would with almost 100% certainty guarantee ot won't end up in fist flying.
District 1 so no the District 7-8 team would play them for the title in CoMo.Does anyone on this side of the state get stuck playing Ritter in the semifinals this year?
1 again I'm not1. Did not know you were from GV?
2. I have no idea who or what you are talking about.
3. Is GV Grain Valley?
Plenty of glass.

You wanna go down that hole you hire the PI.I hate to go down this rabbit hole, but as an admitted outsider and somewhat unbiased poster, what recruiting? That is against the rules and any violation should be punished. Where’s the objective evidence? But if that means coworker Joe knows Fred’s house is for sale and says, “My kids go to WC and I think you may want to consider our school district because we have better MAP scores, more teachers per student and community that supports our education system. and BTW, we have the best HS FB coach in the state. you should give us a look”. If you mean west then yes districts 5 and 6 line up with them this year.Does anyone on this side of the state get stuck playing Ritter in the semifinals this year?
I remember seeing something in 2021ish that listed Christian County as maybe the third largest growing area (per capita, of course) in the US. Honestly, I could believe it. You couldn’t swing a dead cat in Nixa or Ozark back then without hitting a new housing development.Seems like everyone is moving to Christian county. Fun fact, it’s shaped like Oklahoma 😂
1. Did not know you were from GV?Hahahaha if you only knew.
1. GV is not my hometown, and my hometown couldn't recruit if they wanted to ain't no jobs there.
2. GV didn't recruit Caldarella he was a GV kid whose parents moved to BS for his sister's sports and then moved back home once she graduated. FYI younger brother is still in GV schools.
No glass here buddy
I mean question your own integrity not mine. I call shit like I see it and have pissed off several local coaches over the years because I don't dick ride.
Going to? You mean continue to?You have to wonder with their current success are they going to get players moving into Nixa. Similar to what has happened to Webb for years.

But to each theor own you can want what you want that's what makes America great
Does anyone on this side of the state get stuck playing Ritter in the semifinals this year? What appeared to be a deep district at beginning of season is not living up to the bill.
Hahahaha if you only knew.

Come on back to class 4 it is tough there too.I know that’s what a lot of people want to see but I think that’s unlikely. Will Webb football be what it was in the 2000-2010s almost no chance of that. Even with roderique I don’t think that would be the case. Not unless they can convince a few hundred kids who don’t play football to leave the school so they can drop a classification.
Two bad losses while abnormally short handed isn’t the end of everything. Now if losing these games becomes a trend we’re seeing when the field is covered with skilled experienced athletes that’s a different matter but it’s not where we’re at today.
Today they are just struggling and everyone is enjoying seeing Webb city be legit bad at football for the first time any of us can remember.
I hope so. Are we going to see a two or three way tie for second place in the Big 8?Mt. Vernon starting to play better. First few games were rough. Them and Lamar next week should be a good game.

Ok here comes the blatant honesty that hurts feelings sometimes. ( I know it won't yours)THoughts on Ruskin?
