Yes. I’ve footballed for 50+ years. Calls are missed in every game at every level. I repeat for the third time, there is a difference in a blatant call that would give you first and goal at the one in the last two minutes of a close game and a second quarter call or a call at midfield. But you just enjoy your teams advantage.

What millions of fans across the country are saying wouldn’t bother you so much if you didn’t know they are right about this one.
A roughing the passer call on 3rd and 6 that extends a drive into a TD is a big play. The Falcons scored 3 points in the second half and only allowed 1.9 ypc to Bijan. Just like the bad roughing call. Each team had an opportunity to make plays after the missed DPI call and refs definitely gave two makeup calls on the last drive.

It would've been 1st and goal at the 1 with 4:08 left! Quit making things up to make it sound like it was in the last two minutes. Each team had 3 timeouts.

Missouri State/Connor Lair

Is Miller still there? I didn't see him on the roster.
I’m wondering the same thing. Just messaged an old friend the other day asking and they didn’t know either. I’ll have to do some more digging.

WP had 3 receivers go D1 in a two year period,
Miller 6’1 200 lbs (MSU)
Hafer 6’4 220 lbs (MSU)
Hughston 6’6 230 lbs (Northern Iowa)
and out of all of them, as far as athletic ability and speed and just raw physical tools, I would say that Miller was the best, but probably had the least discipline/mentality.

I’d be interested to find that out. He was a fantastic sprinter as well, both outdoor and indoor, so I’ve wondered if he transferred somewhere for track(MSU did away with their men’s team awhile ago)

Come on toots. Why do you even watch football if you think there is a fix in for the Chiefs. That doesn't even make sense. Football isn't WWE, it isn't scripted, there isn't some secret society making the refs favor the chiefs. I'm not saying it shouldn't be a flag and I'm not saying it didn't make a difference in the game. The issue is, people like you, have decided that any time a call favors the chiefs that its on purpose and they are favoring the chiefs which is not the case. It's kinda sad that you have 50+ years of football experience and still have these obtuse opinions. be better toots, be better
Whoa, whoa, whoa!! Easy there, @trumanbulldog42 ! "Obtuse" is @Eagles_Ball 's thing!! You REALLY need a thing! Perhaps "be better"? You seem to use that a lot

Hey veer and revno: M.I.Z.

I just expected more from a senior QB.
I see the same inconsistent guy.

I can’t recall his name, but we lost a stud DE pass rusher to injury in the preseason who we picked up in the portal who would have been a major play maker.
I don't know that many were overly impressed with him last year, but he hit a big throw in OT.

The thing about ugly wins is you have a lot of film on what went wrong and things you can improve on and correct. Sometimes in blow outs and cake walks it hard to convince kids they are not doing things fundamentally sound and correctly, they just don't listen.

Cassville 20 - Lamar 18 HALF

Lamar can’t stop them on 4th and short and the clock expires. Woof.
Bro…step off! Thats my thing!!!

@BoosterBosko need a ruling here.
@Eagles_Ball is correct. "Woof" is one of HIS things. But, as the thread states, claiming someone as one of your things doesnt prevent another poster from using it. But it DOES give you the right to call em out!! I will add @catch_21 to the thread with "yuck"

Hey veer and revno: M.I.Z.

Did I mention the two times last week when Mizzou let a receiver run straight down the field uncovered? Yes I did.

The team has a problem. Saying 3-0 baby ain’t going to fix it.
There has been many times as a Mizzou fan we have been 0-3 or 1-2 at this point in the season. I will take and ugly 3-0 any day of the week over what we have had in the past.

Hey veer and revno: M.I.Z.

I this is an example of how short sighted people in general are.

MU had poor games against Middle Tennessee St, Memphis, and Florida. You can even throw in LSU and KSU. Al games MU should have won easily but didn’t.
I was going to say, last year we beat MTSU by 4 and wasn’t indicative of how the season went at all. This year we only beat Vandy by 3 early in the season and everyone just wants to hit the panic button. Maybe I’ll eat my words, but I think drink will make the adjustments he needs to make this year.

Big 8 Pick em Week 4

How long till the Monett faithful run Mauk out of town?
Right now Mauk has the full support of the community, there are big things happening and many people are excited, we knew these last two years would be tuff but it will be changing.
Mauk went out and got over 90 kids out for football in high school and we only have 11 seniors, he went out and got more kids out for Junior high, he went into the elementary and increased our numbers in the youth program.
It's not an overnight fix, Burl Fowler took a few years to flip the script, but things will be changing.
