So I decided to go watch several WC games, so I am asking the Webbies on here! Seems this team is winning in spite of the offensive coordinator and his play calling!

I mean the play calling is odd. Seems like the Johnson kid is making up for bad calls along with several of the backs!

And what qualifies you to give an accurate assessment of the play calling of the OC of one of the top teams in Class 5?

He is literally the King of Football. Royally qualified.

Play calling has been suspicious this year. Especially near the goal line.

Early in the season they were trying to figure out what to do at the QB position. I think they gave the senior the benefit of the doubt because he's a senior but knew #3 had to be on the field no matter what . So they played him at WR , Wildcat stuff , QB every other possession or so ....They actually have 3 QB who are very capable and all have different skills sets . The soph is obviously a stud and they knew that going in . The senior is a big guy and throws very well . The 3rd QB is somewhere in-between. Runs better than the senior and throws decent but nobody can run like the soph . Then by week 3 both starting RB were out . One they knew definitely for the year the other they knew it would be late in districts best case scenario and the drop of in talent was big . #3 wasn't healthy half of the year . All that to say this .....the play calling has been fine . They were trying to play to the players they had available strengths. This team has been extremely disciplined . Even with all the motions and moving parts I've seen hardly any false starts , dropped snaps and minimal turnovers . Also this year the defense has forced a ton of turnovers. Last few years it felt like Webb had a ton of false starts , and was negative in the turnover category. I like the direction of this team
