I went to national volleyball tourney at a infamous indoor football stadium. There were 80 courts. 3 days. Teams from all over the country. Who do I run into but a famous "mosports" guru and his lovely wife. At a volleybal tournament? But true to his roots he comment to me that he is thinking and trying to figure out how he could put on such a tourney for basketball. It would be awesome.

I'm here at same event and had a similar thought. Biggest basketball tournament like this that I've been to was in Louisville. It was held in the big facility next to Freedom Hall. They had 8 full size college courts down.
Too hard to watch when it's like that. I've been to some of the softball showcases at Chesterfield with 3R Coach Jack. They have about 150 teams on a bunch of fields and give you a book to try to figure out who is where. You better know who you want to see and find them. It's not much good for just watching games to see if a team has a player you like. Not even much fun to just go and watch at all for me. I couldn't imagine trying to watch basketball like that.
Volleyball is hard to watch like that. However I go to watch one kid/team so it's not a huge deal to me
Yeah I knew that. A local basketball official from around here left the gym after calling a HS game at 3R Saturday headed for St.Louis to watch his daughter at same place you were I'm sure. She's turning into a pretty good basketball player too.
The girl you are referring to plays with my step-daughter. Sort of a regional team. kids from Dexter to Quincy IL . They won the open division of 15s today. Good weekend
