Overdue, IMOMaybe that's just what we need to get another vote on splitting the privates into their own class(es).
3peat, that was exactly what the big issue was. All three top runners were again down or at 50%. With that, Webb had the lead with 5 minute left and a fumble made the difference. The d will be back full force and JRod has proven over and over, give him time and the offense will come along with reloaded runners and qb.AAGH not worth the gripe. It's a every year drum beat. I think Lamar and WEBB have proven the argument isn't that substantial. A healthy backfield atleast from my observation and WEBB wins today convincingly. Our little ole lineman played their butts off against them big boys just didn't have the wheels with the injuries to take advantage of our D playing so well.
Keep talking. Now that the chosen ones are beating nonclass1 teams something may get done.Every year, same bat time, same bat channel WAAH
Webb and Lamar have done things most high schools in our country haven’t ever seen. Are both are located in Missouri. Two very rare examples. (Especially if you consider they are public schools) Can’t two things be true? And overall beaten to death at the same time? I think things need to be changed. Most states have separate rules for private schools. Move them up a class after finishing up enrollment. Something along those lines. STL takes the cake this year. Well East side for sure.
Keep talking. Now that the chosen ones are beating nonclass1 teams something may get done.
Ya they do. When public schools get caught doing what privates do they call that cheating.Privates don't have a separate set of rules already? Just not enough for you huh?

Bye. Do they teach that language at valle?West side wins, it's that they play better football. East side wins, they cheat. WAAH. And Queer, as soon as you shut your big mouth, I'll shut mine. Sour grapes tough guy
Have a great day, talk to you next yearBye. Do they teach that language at valle?
So what Class 1 team recruits? I don't get that reference.
Wouldn't know, never attended Valle, couldn't afford itBye. Do they teach that language at valle?
Sure. Thats why you rush in to champion them at every turnWouldn't know, never attended Valle, couldn't afford it
Don't have to recruit if you can pick from a larger talent pool then any other class 1 team while also being able to limit your enrollment and offer tuition assistance.I don’t think any do but McAuley is a small private school in Joplin that would be s class one.
My point was just to imagine how quickly just 4-5 players could turn a small school from a non-factor to a state champion caliber team.
Just a fan snowflake, I know that will be hard for you to digest, more of an east side fan than Valle, but Valle seems to be your obsession, ByeSure. Thats why you rush in to champion them at every turn
I didnt mention valle until you posted.Just a fan snowflake, I know that will be hard for you to digest, more of an east side fan than Valle, but Valle seems to be your obsession, Bye
It is relevant though it didn’t affect WC. Imagine WC this year if Weston was healthy and transferred to WC, Westmoreland transferred to WC,plus the top o-lineman from Carthage. Would Class 4 even have been remotely competitive?
Or say joplin Mcauley brought back football and the players listed above plus 2-3 of the top WC players went there. How do you think Diamond, Sarcoxie and Jasper would compete?
That is what is happening at places like Trinity. It has always been somewhat the case with places like Rock, John Burroughs and MICDS but CBC and Trinity have upped their game.
Another true statementI didnt mention valle until you posted.
Nobody on earth pays cheaper rent than Valle does in veers Head..Don't have to recruit if you can pick from a larger talent pool then any other class 1 team while also being able to limit your enrollment and offer tuition assistance.
St marys in 2002 had an all state rb from Lenexa ks.
If adrian does that its a violation.
Im sure no other class 1 private schools have ever had players from other states though. But if they did its perfectly ok with mshsaa as long as its not a public school
Does any one realize how hard it is for a kid to get into Borroughs , MICDS or Priory. It isn’t just my parents will pay. Those schools only accept maybe 20 percent of HS applicants, and sports abilities have 0 to do with it.
I totally agree. Just look at all the schools in North County, all those public schools are getting crushed by kids jumping ship to go to LN, Trinity, and to some respects CR, assuming Desmet and CBC don’t scoop them up. McCluers, Hazelwoods are all down. DeSmet will be the next CBC in my opinion. They are on the brink of being very good. While that still reinforces the point none of 3 schools are the ones that have just recently assembled top teams.
False, look up Drew Temple.Does any one realize how hard it is for a kid to get into Borroughs , MICDS or Priory. It isn’t just my parents will pay. Those schools only accept maybe 20 percent of HS applicants, and sports abilities have 0 to do with it.
That and they turn money away to hold enrollment numbers down because that prestigious Class 1 title means oh so much!Nobody on earth pays cheaper rent than Valle does in veers Head..

Sure, it's tough for most students to be admitted to those schools, but those with exceptional sports abilities will receive scholarships. Sports abilities have EVERYTHING to do with it. Let's even the playing field by letting public schools offer scholarships to elite athletes who reside outside their districts and see what happens.
