STL Privates favored to sweep Class 4-6, SEMO Privates can sweep Class 1 and 2

You keep suggesting I’m some guy who terrorized you for years. I appreciate the delineation of accepting your low IQ but I assure you I’m verified and not whoever you think I am. Keep the fight, weakling

Kearney vs. Smithville rematch would be interesting, regardless of what some might think.

In game 1, Smithville did some damage in the trenches on offense, and exposed Kearney a few times on inside runs. Smithville’s big guard (71) is the real deal. Smithville QB made some mistakes that were costly, typical of an inexperienced QB early in the season.

Kearney Soph QB is an athlete, and the pass game continues to develop. Aside from being a weapon to run himself, he has several others with big play ability. QB mobility and developing triple option game are making this offense harder to defend. They are currently playing good complementary offense, and eventually their defense will give up some plays and they'll be in a position where they have to score.

Special teams was a major factor in Game 1, and Smithville will have that cleaned up.

If Smithville can take care of business vs. Savannah, this will setup another classic rivalry game for the D8 title.

Every year like a broken record I warn everyone about BLOWOUT REMATCHES. This could be another IF (Savannah has a pretty good D) SVille makes it to this game.

Not wrong above. Sounds like Kearney moved their nose tackle out and moved the beavers inside now that their defensive end is healthy again. Wouldn’t expect their to be much success with 71 running unless he gets outside. 71 is a force when he’s running downhill against under 200LB kids.

Would expect him to be bullied in rd2. You have more faith in Kearney qb than I do. A platte Cty karney super team would beat IMG after what I saw against East St. Louis

Kearney gets a couple of kids back that will help on Offense the Tre Smith kid could be a major factor in the playoffs that nobody talks about.

#8 can ball. Surprise not more college interest. Should be able to slow down #7 on LN enough to let those big dogs up front eat. I wouldn’t be surprised if 4 kids get sent to ER from LN when karney plays them.

You are all correct, I have been on here for a long time and yes I looked at districts for Class 4

So lets go with Lutheran N over Kirksville

Really enjoy this site, the STL POST site is dead, good luck to the all the teams.

Park Hill looks to be the sleeper to me. Talking to my sources they’re saying nobody in 6 is scary and they’re in it to win it!

I’m not sold on Kearney’s offense. They need to find some more physicality before Smithville rematch or they could lose that game. If the defense wasn’t world class and they didn’t score on special teams they could have lost to Smithville….

I thought Kearney got pushed around by park hills dline and Smithville dline and Kearneys QB still can’t throw….

Kearney's O Line Got pushed around by Park Hill?

LOLOLOL

Kearney offense: in the second half Kearney's O had 239 Yards rushing on that Park Hill D. QB was 3/3 for 40 yards. Save the fumble at the goal line they put up 28 points basically rushing the ball down Park Hill's throat at will. No need to pass in the second half.

They averaged 8.5 yards per carry.

Just wondering what game you were watching? Or did you only watch the first half when it was 17-3?

As for Smithville, K doubled their per play production on offense in Game 1--not counting the complete special teams domination.

Have you seen Kearney play? I have seen LN play they have several bigger kids that play both ways and that will be a problem for them later in the game. I hope this game happens because I am holding a lot of receipts if it goes like I think it will.

They think LN is fast. Okay. Strong? LOL

It was 38-7 Kearney over Smithville in the early 4Q for a reason. Yes, K specials completely dominated and made short field for the K offense. But Kearney had double the play efficiency in yardage on Offense when they had the ball. K played a 3-man front and held SV to 19 yards passing for the game. If they play a four man? Or they want to stop the run, they will. Then the SV QB will have to make plays? The fastest athlete on the SV offense would be the 5th or 6th fastest player on the K defense. Good luck.

Savannah next week is no given. Put an X over their loss to a very special SPX they have enough D to keep that one close.

To keep any game close and have anything left come Q4 somebody in C4 will have to match KMO's physicality. Have seen a few games in person and lots of others on webcast replay is there even one and yeah I am including Lutheran in that convo................????

Boy was I wrong, Kirksville loses in first round. So far, not a "Chalky" brackets, at least 20 lower seeded teams have won, usually very lower seeds win in the first round.

Honestly i think Both Kearney and Smithville could beat LN. I always think no matter how Many D1 Recruits LN has, the bigger s Caliber football schools like Kearney and Smithville has the better chance to win. Look last year we talk about LN being the 2nd or 3rd best team but they got blown off the field in the Semifinals by Hillsboro. Valle couldn’t get past the Districts while playing in C3.

Class 4 Championship game Prediction

Festus or Hannibal vs Kearney or Possibly Smithville!!!

The Cadets better pray they don't see that "electric company" Nixa O Line in the semis.................
Yeah, I'm surprised that Nixa isn't getting any love. They destroyed the COC this year, but the rest of the COC was pretty weak this year.

The private STL schools at time isn’t even football. They can’t kick or punt, specials teams coverage is atrocious and the defensive pursuit is non existent.

I can’t wait to watch my boy Jackson Cantwell rough up the athletes over the next 5 games. Jackson is the strongest most explosive football player in the history of HS football and we have the pleasure of watching it live.
