No excuses. I am curious how much Sam Page restrictions on county teams hurt preparation if any. Kids missed out on a ton. Again no excuse, I’m just curious. I’m thankful they all got to play, even if it was a short season. Especially seniors that needed film to play at the next level

According to the article in the Jeff City paper Desmet was missing 8 starters for the Championship game and their starting starting QB was injured in the 1st half.

I read that too. Best thing is the Coach did not make an excuse out of it. He said we are playing for a state championship and we will show up and play no matter what. Lot of respect for the Desmet program for going out and playing and not making excuses.

Dayum....some of these schools are freggin big. 2/3 of these schools have more students than the entire towns have for pop in Class 2 and Class 1.

Not really.... Class 1 and 2 know how to cap their enrollments to stay class 1 and 2 so they do not have to play with the big boys! Instead of voter fraud, they call it enrollment fraud
