Even though I verbally sparred with him while driving alone in my truck many, many times, I respected his intellect and his dedication to what he saw as the Way Things Ought To Be, though I disagreed with nearly everything he ever said.

The dude sure made some money in his day, wow. At one point an 8 year, 400 million dollar contract. He was as much an entertainer as anything. I wasn't a listener, obviously he made a lot of loud and controversial statements.
