I ended up building a helluva mailbox using cobbled stream stone and a pine log I had setting around. Even carved some pine tree silhouettes on the side of it.
When the concrete sets in the log post base and I can mount the mailbox on the top, I’ll share some photos.
It all happened today due to Pat McAfee.

Hell, I’ve been stomping through the Ozarks off trail all week for my work.
Thought I’d earned a day without wading through nipple high multiflora rose.
Who is to blame for having to have a female on every damn football show on espn, NFL network, etc. Nothing like hearing a 20 something woman give her opinion on coverages and o-line technique.
We was just talking the other day why they need four to five people to do the job of two to three people broadcasting.
I guess if I survived Jim Lampley and Beano Cook, I’ll survive Pat McAfee as well.
