If Parkview and Hillcrest are allowed to join the OMC, Kickapoo and Glendale will join the COC. Neosho and Willard won't win football games in that league. Neosho has much less talent coming up than even CJ does. Neosho's football program will die in that league.
Willard has been asked to Join the OMC also it has been publicly stated. You get Parkview and Hillcrest along with Neosho you will have a very good conference of Bridesmaids.
I don't think a school floats this unless the decision has already been made but we will see.
Why make a decision and then put out a survey and then realize the responses are contradictory to your decision
Because then you can tell people (yourselves) that you actually solicited outside opinions.
Neosho's release/statement thingy says Hillcrest and Parkview petitioned to join.
I’m not 100% sure if they use it at no cost to be honest.
I remember there for awhile, any game they thought was going to be packed, they would have at the Civic Center, anytime there would be both girls and boys games in town, the boys would play at the civic center.
Back in the day they also used to have the Zizzer Classic there as well. I think the gym there seats roughly 2,200 for basketball.
I know they use the pool at the civic center for swim meets for the high school.
I wonder what the move to the OMC is going to mean for the swim team. WP girls just won the conference title last year.
CJ finished 2nd in the COC last year but not sure which schools have girls swimming

I’m pretty sure a swim team can have just one competitor. I could be wrong. Some of these bigger schools that don’t have it, may not have enough interest for the school to undertake it.
This sounds like SPS has already approved Hillcrest and Parkview joining the OMC.

They won't have to go looking for any football games if this all goes thru.
That may be the big motivator for adding these teams to be honest.
Looking at that conference Marshfield and Log Rog are going to have a hard time finding wins, in my worthless opinion.
Maybe... Marshfield is going to be really bad our JV smoked them and we are just so so and their Varsity is just as bad. Log Rog might do better.
Hillcrest would beat them both this year.

And we’ll probably get to find out in Week 10 because I believe Hillcrest @ Rogersville will be a game that week.
For sure it does. I can't imagine Wyatt would tweet that had Josh not told him. I really wonder if the OMC would let them in though. They're not exactly like the others in that conference. Hillcrest is close, but man, Parkview is big, big school
I'm not so sure of that. Why would they have to ask when the conference, according to Neosho's statement and Wyatt's tweet, is actively seeking other schools. I'm just not convinced Hillcrest and Parkview are a fit.
Clinton did this exact same thing last year. Ozark Highlands invited them and they had a public information about it. Community told them to stay in MRVC and get better.
I’m not convinced SPS will split them up.
The new Ozark Mtn Conference is trying to grow to fast.
Last week everyone’s opinion was opening up the schedule outside the conference was good but with these changes the OMC has no non conference games.
Branson is 1,400+ and I don’t think Parkview is much bigger than that. Maybe 1,500?
I’ll be honest. I always thought Parkview was in the 1,300-1,400 range, but I don’t have anything to back that up so yeah.

Glendale won't win ANY games in that setup. SPS will have to do something with Glendale (like Central). I could see them going like 1-33 in a few years.
Yeah I heard a rumor that CJ and Seneca were planning to play the next 2 years but that wouldn't happen if this does.
