Lol. I'm just spit-balling, but it's probably because masks and any precaution you take don't have a huge effect. They help, but once it starts exponentially spreading, that's what a virus does.

BINGO. I think that too many people want to find someone to blame instead of understanding that this is a very contagious virus. Masks help mitigate, but don’t PREVENT spread.
