From what I understand the Montgomery county job is not really open. The local scuttlebutt is that they had a replacement in mind all along for the boys job. Of course given the fact that the current coach won 2 district championships and conference championship in four seasons I'm not for sure anyone would want to deal with the school board.

After the complete farce that the school board and administration just pulled at Montgomery they will be very fortunate to ever land a good coach again.

Who is going to be the replacement

Who is going to be the replacement

The word is the girls coach will be taking the job. Great reward for a 27-3 season, first conference championship in 25 yrs and first time to the Elite 8 since 1974.

I just asked the girls coach and he said he is still the girls coach and that is where he plans to stay

Mark Twain (Ralls Co. R-II) has hired Cody McCann, assistant at Clopton, as next head coach

Outgoing Coach Wade Proffitt took the head coaching job at Carrollton

"Hannibal (why would anyone take this job, they go through coaches faster than Taylor Swift dumps boyfriends and writes songs about them)"

This is probably one of my favorite quotes of all time on here about a coaching job.

Yes, I was thinking it would be okay for her to write about me if I had been her boyfriend for awhile but then it dawned on me that she would probably title the song, "Mr. February".

You can add Valle Catholic to the jobs open. Coach Noble made it public yesterday that he is not returning.

Basing it off the post from another thread, but appears Kevin Smith has taken the Crane job. Good luck to Coach Smith and the Pirates!

Looks like Rog will hire John Schaefer based on rumors (actually, Art Hains on his radio show with thousands of people listening).

Had heard his name for the Jeff City job as well. No slight to Mexico, but nice move if he's going to Olathe. Outstanding school district!

Not sure if official or not, but pretty sure St. Clair has hired their JV coach, Tim Isgrig for their position.
