I have, but I’M not the one that was bitching in posts on this thread about a team pinching and hair pulling in piles, or claiming some “white kid in thug clothing on the sideline called my son a cracker 35ish times during the game” and that it happened to all of Ava’s players during the postgame handshake line.

North only beat Lathrop by 14 in the semis and actually got outscored in the 2nd half after adjustments were made. The better Lamar teams and the BO team from last year with Nolan Hair would have been able to match up with this team. Class 2 was not as strong as in some past years which made LN same more dominant. Great team, well deserved championship but not the juggernaunt some are making them out to be.
There's definitely an argument either way. They were really good. That mules team this year checked all the boxes, coaching included of course. Lutheran added 3 defenders to their squad after season started, plus the Ford kid apparently won his MSHSAA hearing and was eligible. Those factors made their defense great, and I think that was the difference.

I agree I think it is an egregious act that it would be easy to verify. So I am asking you can you verify that it did not happen? You are on the record as stating such so can you? Were you in the line.

ESTL who won the title in IL had two LN transfers. One who is a D1 recruit. Hazelwood West has a LN transfer that is a D1 recruit. North gets good players but some leave as well. LN is not a rich school like some of the STL privates, they do not have the funds to five the full rides you think these kids are getting. You may not pay all but you pay some. if you don't make that much, that some you pay is still a sacrifice. North's facilities and resources are not as good as some rural and suburban public schools I have seen. Comparing them to Gorman, IMG, and the like is ridiculous.
Even more reason to play a Prep school schedule. Get some of that ESPN money to help upgrade facilities.
This Lutheran North team has an argument for the best team in the state.
DeSmet and Them both have Chaminade on their schedule and Chaminade didnt even deserve to be on the same field as them yet they almost beat Desmet

No hate or jealousy just honesty. LN vs Lathrop was far from mismatch and LN vs LFL was competitive as well. Just making the point that LN is no more dominant this year than BO was last year and Lamar in past years. Deserved champions but not the greatest class 2 team of all time that some are making them out to be. Even seen some saying they would beat ESTL which is a stretch in my opinion. DeSmet would have been an interesting matchup. Think DeSmet would have the edge due to more depth. The common Chaminade game scores mean nothing since the transitive property doesn't work in football.
Lift for Life should’ve won that game. Had they done it, I’m confident they’d have run through Scott City, Lathrop, and Ava as well. Lutheran North is now the reigning King of Class 2 and gets the props that every other one deserves this decade. Lathrop didn’t get their doors blown off, but I’m not gonna let their team Dads talk shit here either.
I know it hurts to see kids from a school you can’t beat achieving greatness. Embrace the suck. It’ll make you stronger. If you didn’t want to keep thoughts of Lutheran North running around inside your head, you’d wouldn’t be drawn to this thread the way you are.
