Will, of course, let the season tell the story but too much of this is based on last year. I all but expect LS North to be mid-pack in their conference and out of the C6 top ten. #1 Nixa has to prove they can consistently hang with the top teams in KC/STL (did have a nice one over the aforementioned last November) before favoring them to win C6.

Platte County will be video game good offensively and a heavy C5 favorite even given they will have to retool the other side of the ball to some degree.

Hear nothing but good about last year's C4 semifinalist Kearney. Could be a very up couple of years coming here.

Back in the C6 realm very interested in Liberty and Park Hill, who faced off in last year's NW region C6 quarter. The overarching theme in this Metro area is RETURNING STARTING QBs.

that was more a "KC Area" jab than anything. Every team lost kids and nobody knows who has what going forward.

With few noted exceptions (Platte County and Kearney) I agree and, yes, even those two Hwy 92 stalwarts could be hit by the pre-season injury bug or experience move outs etc.

The entire team at Lutheran North has left or is currently in the process of leaving. Very unlikely to be relevant this year. Blue Springs and Blue Springs South would my favorites to take big steps forward in KC this year.

I would have PC a lot closer to #1 than this list does. They bring everybody back.

Offensively absolutely. They may average 60 a game. Defensively they lost quite a bit but may not matter. Assuming the schedule simply flips I don't see a real good matchup this upcoming regular season.

Last year I thought Kearney needed Platte County on the slate this year it may well be the opposite.

CORRECT they are scooting out of there quickly since the HC and top assistant exited stage left. Kearney is a clear cut C4 favorite assuming (numbers do not suggest a move up) they stay in that classification.

Just in the Northland alone defending C5 champ Platte County, prior year C4 champ Kearney, C6 semifinalist Liberty, quarterfinalist Park Hill and very stout, deep (although graduation will hit pretty hard next month) St. Pius X ALL return starting QBs. These are major times up this way, folks.
