You and Ritter can believe whatever you want to. What ISN’T in dispute is that LN and Ritter were BOTH better than any of the teams in Class 2. You can put any punctuation mark you choose next to your team’s record depending on how much they sucked.

What I’m saying is what Webb city did that night was unlike them. Yes Joplin won, yes Joplin is a very good football team but I do believe that if Webb city and Joplin were to play again, Webb would win. That’s interesting. Because it was THIS guy crying because his son claims he got called a “cracker” by a white kid 35 times on the sideline in front of the referees in the middle of the game. But at the end of the day, I don't think they would have won state without poaching two or three 4-5 star athletes from other fellow private schools. After losing a great senior class, "Scholarship High" needed more big name HS athletes in the hallways to keep the colleges visiting. Those guys will be there for another year or so. EVEN MORE families will flock to Lutheran North this off season.

But by other LN athletes as well as Hype Men posing as STL area media figures and Personal Trainers. They all did a great job of influencing the kids & families. Don't get me wrong. I agree 1000% it's the families decision. I say it all the time. But there was a lot of shady stuff that went on with a few transfers this year. It was definitely interesting to follow.

Use of that word ... poaching ... is what you keep choosing to describe the transfers. It implies that kids “belong to” the high schools and teams they play for, or that there’s some obligation kids or families have to be at a high school for any reason beyond them CHOOSING to be there.
