Lutheran North

I don’t think enough public school ADs support there being a split for private schools. I’d love to sit in on votes so I could name names, but I DO know public schools outnumber privates by a large amount. If enough public ADs supported the move, I think it’d pass. If somebody here knows some ADs, I’d love to know what the scoop is.
Ok I thought you were saying you knew why they voted against it. I would also like to know why they are against separating public's and privates

You've been saying all year that you don't care about state championships, if you want "real" competition and an opportunity to "prove yourself" against the best, play a prep school schedule.

Be the IMG of the midwest. Recruit whoever you want.

I mean, yeah the downside is you wont get to beat up on severely overmatched rural Class 2 schools, but at least you'll be guaranteed 10 games against the "best" AND give your kids even more national attention.

Playing:

1. Bishop Gorman (NV)
2. IMG (FL)
3. Colquitt County (GA)
4. St. Thomas Aquinas (FL)
5. East St. Louis (IL)
6. Duncanville (TX)
7. Cardinal Ritter
8. DeSmet
9. Mentor (OH)
10. John Curtis (LA)

Half those games would be on ESPN.

The scoop is simple. Private school parents vote in elections. They vote for or against school bond issues and board members.
Public schools are afraid to push for a separation of public/private because they fear the backlash.

Lutheran North plays in a private school conference , travels out of state to face schools with 1500-2000 students, and plays Class 4-5 Missouri schools before it even starts Districts.

MSHSAA makes the rules and predominantly public school ADs control what changes get passed. Who Lutheran North gets to face in the postseason is out of their control, and you bitching because a private school won State in Class 2 for the first time in at least 10 years doesn’t support your butt hurt claims that small public school teams are getting a raw deal. It only supports that you REALLY hate to see Lutheran North win. Go see a therapist or drown your tears in liquor, because it’s only gonna get worse moving forward.

The early signing period starts in on Dec.18th. Tune into STL area TV coverage if you want to see what it looks like. They’ll be at Lutheran North watching their kids sign NLIs.

"Championships don't matter" remember?

Get those young men some real exposure and play a national schedule.

Ok I thought you were saying you knew why they voted against it. I would also like to know why they are against separating public's and privates

The only thing I have ever been told is if they vote to make them a separate division, there is a fear that they will then really go all in in the recruiting type antics and try to poach even more players. Not saying I agree w that fear, just the explanation I was given.

Welp, I'm glad that they finally won one. Congrats to LN and Ava on making it to the title game.

For those of you crying foul, please stop making it seem like Class 1 - 4 schools are SUPPOSED to have worse talent & coaches than Class 5 schools. Class size does not make a program better.

The fact that LN has a semi-allstar team has nothing to do with MSHSAA rules, Carl Reed or the school. FAMILIES are choosing to go to Lutheran North due to college exposure that their football program has. Again, don't blame the school or coaches...sending kids to a private school is the parents decision and a 4 year sacrifice.

There is no such thing as a level playing field. It's competition. The better team will win. This is the 1st Championship in the Carl Reed era at Lutheran North. So with all of the talent that has been filtered through that school in the last 5-7 years or so, they finally got 1. Congrats to them.

Yall stop hating
Do all players pay full tuition?

I know it’s breaking your heart to watch Lutheran North win State. They’re getting plenty of exposure as it is. Every major college program in the country recruits St. Louis now, and when they come to town they come to Lutheran North. If you want YOUR young men to get some real exposure, have your AD schedule Lutheran North during the regular season. That way they’ll end up on game film that a college recruiter is likely to see.

Are you affiliated with that school or program in some way? Maybe male cheerleader or something? Because what you just typed in is really immature. Life is too short to be that petty.

Lol. “Poaching”? Kids don’t belong to a school district. You get their family’s taxes, but parents don’t owe you their kids. If you have a problem with parents choosing to send their kids to whatever private school they want to, then you need to have more kids yourself so you can make up for it.

I was hoping you’d chime in, little ducky.

Blow me.

Would getting your ass kicked by the kids of families that are able to pay $1000/mo for private school make your ass feel less sore?

Guarantee none of those football players parents are paying $1000 a month.

I love this acting like you have something to do with those big, strong masculine athletes. I bet it makes you all tingly. It’s like you are finally part of something big. When in reality you have nothing to do with their team or accomplishments.

FB never actually played football so he is proving his toughness online. He is just falling short.

Rest assured my toughness (online and off) surpasses your own, old man. Not having a public school win State in Class 2 isn’t fatal. It just hurts real bad.

Is that why you like high school football? Sounds a little weird seeing you describe teenage boys that way. Maybe that’s why you don’t coach anymore?

Nah. I’m only here to twist your nipples and watch you bitch and moan. I’m enjoying Lutheran North’s State Championship just as much as I did Trinity’s, and Ladue’s, and Vianney’s, and DeSmet’s, and Chaminade’s, and CBC’s.

Mostly, though, it’s being able to make you miserable that gives me REAL joy. I’m glad you joined the party.

No one really cares little guy. I don’t have a dog in the hunt. And neither do you.

Lol. Okay, Boomer.

Nah. I’m not going anywhere and I’m DEFINITELY not going to stop. Why don’t you go yell at kids for playing too loudly outside or something?

Heck, you were rather fun last night after your 6 Fourlockos.

Pity

(I’m saving this gif, though)
One of the 35ish times my son got called cracker by the Lutheran north scrubs on the sidelines, he looked up and some pathetic looking wormy white kid in thug street clothes had said it. Yep hahahahaha pretty sure that was FB lol

If this is something you didn't want to hear, I'm not sure what to tell you, but it most assuredly, definitely, 100 percent certifiably did happen bud.

Is there a full moon? Every Kook in Missouri is on mosports today. Wc3 says Bo Jackson was bad at everything and FBislife, who never played football but has a son who did lead cheers is impersonating a Lutheran.

I see you’ve got a lot more free time to play on the interwebz, old man. Guess you aren’t preoccupied lusting after teenage boys, now that the season’s over. Either way, I’m glad you’re here. Shitting on you is easily as satisfying as watching you struggle to contain your sorrow over watching Lutheran North put on one of the most dominant defensive displays in State Championship history.

Where’d YOU play and coach? According to your circle jerk fans here, you’re supposed to be somebody that accomplished something. Now, you’re just another old fart envying kids and trying not to crap his pants.

Yep. Because everybody knows how discriminated against white kids are. Especially in the middle of the State Championship Game when there are officials around. But, hey. Why would some kids on an all-white team, from an all-white town that got a 49 - 0 shellacking by a mostly black team be looking for excuses? Maybe they were just stunned to be around that many kids that weren’t white? Maybe it was being held to 66 yards of total offense? Nah ... I’ll just take your word for it that your kid got called “cracker” 35ish times.

Tuition scale
5.0 Forty? $1000/month
4.9 forty? $800/month
4.8 forty? $600/month
4.7 forty? $400/month
4.6 forty? $300/month
4.5 forty? $200/month
4.3? Blessed be! Tuition’s free!

(Unbeknownst to most historians, Martin Luther could run a 4.23)

That sounds about right. You forgot the cushy job for the parents and the sports car for the kid. Add the college-prep education, the high exposure to college recruiters, and now the State Championship, and it’s a pretty sweet set-up.

Mike, it’s not worth it. Your shenanigans here aren’t worth the embarrassment.

Don’t call little ducky off. C’mon, Mike. I should be taught a lesson. Let’s hear the resume of The Missourah High School Bill Belichick. Legend has it that he knew a kid that played in the NFL or something. Maybe he invented the forward pass!
