Lincoln quit tonight?

Nah, he was the guy throwing passes up 44-0 with about 4 minutes left to break a school record against a 1-9 team. What goes around comes around.
Yeah, I remember hearing about that game, pretty sure it was against Hermann in 2011.
He would always make a big deal about breaking school records and loved to brag about it. Funny thing is, any record that was ever broken when he was the coach at BO, has been broken by other teams and individuals since then.

Won state on LePage coached kids…
I mean, I just stated facts. But I can't imagine many would argue with your assertion either. Here's another fact, when you look at his tenure at BO, the chunk of years prior to and after his tenure...there's a significant lack of district/state hardware in one of those three tenures. Again, just stating facts.

Fact noun
1) a thing that is known or proved to be true.
"he ignores some historical and economic facts"
2) information used as evidence or as part of a report or news article.
"even the most inventive journalism peters out without facts, and in this case there were no facts"
3) the truth about events as opposed to interpretation.
"there was a question of fact as to whether they had received the letter"

Correct...Which is what my posts were, I think.

Six district titles, four semi-finals, and 2 runner-up finishes in eight years really isn't a significant lack of hardware.

Insanely accurate statement. The teams there in 06 (state title), 07 (runner-up), and 08 (semi loss by 1 to eventual state champs) were loaded with talent and athletes. Should of had a 3-peat with even slightly better coaching. There was undeniable issues with players/coaching relationships under his helm at BO.

Sorry, should've said comparative to the other two tenures. But yes, that is far more hardware than most enjoy in a career. Like I said above, his eight year run at BO was awfully stout. No denying that.

Crazy amount of athletes during that time, a lot of good coaches in all sports who all held players to high standard. Seems like they had a great amount of highly competitive athletes, coaches, teachers and even admin.

Do that math again with non LePage coached kids.
Resume shows that he won in College as a Hall of Fame QB, won at Oak Grove as OC and Head Basketball, won again as OC at Ft Zumwalt West, won again Head Coaching Job William Chrisman - first dist championship in school history in 3 years, 1 state title, 2 Runner Ups, 5 semi finals, 11 District Titles, 10 Conference titles, Waynesville was a head scratcher and about as good a fit as LePage at JC or Walker at BO, won again at Lincoln - another district champ, conf champ and quarterfinal...crickets last year?!? Career numbers...likely underestimated but a quick search yielded different results and far more extensive career. Strange take - feels personal.

As far as BO - 2005 team was arguable the most talented team in history...ended in a VERY disappointing upset loss and departure of LePage to JC. Good coach and great kids - sometimes you just don't win. 06 was less talented and won state under a first year coach?!?

JC deteriorated into .500 teams under LePage, which is a far cry from 10 state championships and hardware they were accustom to.

By your theory - Walkers 3 years didn't exist and that hardware belongs to the previous staff.

As far as LePage coached teams...he had the same luxury that the last 3 coaches at Blair Oaks had - walking into a state championship caliber team first year. Expected to win and did - if you think that doesn't require good coaching then what's your point? Again - both LePage's recent state championships are Walker coached kids?

Blair Oaks had 2 recent "hardware winning" seasons prior to 06...haven't had a losing season since with 3 head coaching changes.

I love Blair Oaks and anyone every associated with it - I was at BO during this time and it was a great day to be a Falcon! I've been away for several years, but always follow their success.

Winning requires good athletes - if you don't think they're as good now as they've ever been you're delusional. As you said, all the records have been broken!

The JR Falcon investment is paying dividends and that was started by LePage the year he departed and developed into what it is today via Paul Mud and LePage's successor.

It's the green machine now...........it was built with winning in mind.

Respect isn't something you seem capable of and that comes from underachieving.

JC Deteriorated under LePage is laughable? They made Semifinals twice. One losing season. No one is winning at the clip Coach Adkins teams did. Lets just get that out of the way. Walker great regular seasons, couldn't get it done. Drehle got it done in year 1. Doesn't matter who developed them, he got it done and went on to win at a high level. Walker goes to JC and it became a disaster...He didnt have the athletes. LePage back at BO, and wins 3 Titles so far. Is it coaching? Is it the kids? I believe its a little bit of both. Every great Coach, has very good players...period. But a great coach can make a difference in big games.

The Blair Oaks community and leaders within the school have helped make BO a dominant force...in all sports. The JR. Falcon program has been a unbelievable asset to the football program and Paul Mudd and Brad Drehle deserve all the credit for that. ALong with the great coaches they have had in Jr. Falcon program.

Point of the story...Coaches get way too much credit and way too much blame.....the kids and their families and community is what make great HS programs.

Okay. I get that you are relatively new to MoSports, so I'll let this one slide. But you CANT use all caps on EVERYTHING!!! It sounds like you're shouting. Gotta go my route. Only use caps on words you're really TRYING to emphasize. Now DONT cross me!

Thanks Mrs. Drehle. Welcome to the board.

So much to unpack here. Somebody forgot to snort their ritalin before posting.

11 or 12 games under .500 at Chrisman is considered "winning"? I get they were trash prior. I also get the dist title was against three other teams, correct?

4 wins in 3 years is a "head scratcher"? I have different descriptors. Awful. Non-competitive. Record losing.

You can "win" as a HS OC? Seriously? Most HS OC don't even call plays. I need our former "head defensive coordinator" on the board to weigh in here.

I don't think either Lepage at JC or Walker at BO had a run of 4 wins in 3 years. And make no mistake, Waynesville's entire schedule was the Ozark Conference. Not exactly known as a football hot bed. That means they were consistently losing to the likes of Parkview, Hillcrest, Glendale...the schools that sorta, kinda barely acknowledge they have football programs.

I know Lepage had at least one semi appearance (was at that game) and I thought another at JC. Seems like that would equate to at least 4 wins in one singular season, right? Like the same number as 3 years in Waynesville. Seems like those are different to me.

Thanks for admitting I had the weights right, Bosko!
"Weight loss" or not, you'd probably better abstain from weighing anything. Not in your best interest.
Okay you bozos!! I was NOT saying those were MY weights. I was speaking in generalities!! A 150lbs weight loss is impressive. For full transparency, I have NEVER weighed more than 300lbs in my ENTIRE life!!

And eagles, weighing ANYTHING!? I weigh my FRESH produce at the grocery just fine!! NICE TRY BOZOS!!!
