Could it be because the vast majority of major US cities are Democratic? There is only one Rep mayor in the top 13 largest US cities, and only 5 Rep mayors in the 30 largest US cities. So the odds are that if there is rioting in a US city, the city will be run by a Democrat.
So basically you can say "All the ____________ (fill in the blank) is happening in cities run by Democrats" and chances are that you would be close to accurate.
But wait, there's more, let's look at those Rep run cities;
#8 San Diego (R) - rioting and looting, businesses burned
#14 Jacksonville (R) - rioting and looting
#18 Fort Worth (R) - very little violence, although major rioting in Dallas (D)
#20 El Paso (R) - rioting after violent clashes with police
#28 Oklahoma City (R) - rioting after violent clashes with police
So obviously there is rioting in cities with Rep mayors as well, there just aren't many Rep run major cities in the US.
If your real issue is a lack of Rep run cities, may I suggest you run more electable candidates and convince voters in the major cities to vote for Reps.
