I think this will be one of their toughest years with the talent they are losing. However that his been said numerous other years and we see how that has played out. I still think by in large things will be pretty breezy until late in the playoffs.
I don't think there is a team in the SCA that could topple them, the real issue might not come until they face one of the 2 STL schools. Rumor has it, they are for real...

that's my specific opinion too, I just called it "late playoffs" as to not provide bulletin board material.
My only concern is Lamar has always had a horse who could get you the 3rd down. Even though there was always big names graduating, there was always a clear next man up. There is a lot of returning talent, but I'm not sure who is going to be the horse in the backfield this year
That horse in the backfield just might be related to the head coach.
That was my guess since he's about the only one with some size. I think this year the backfield will be by committee more than it has in years prior.
Being for real knows no timeline. Excellence can be defined with one championship out of 4 if 3 out of 4 can be claimed with an all-time coach at the helm. Stamps are forever now. Documentary football is 1000% better than actual football by volume.

You did see I said I'm not picking against Lamar. People will pick Trinity because they're filled with D1 athletes. I would imagine you'd understand why people would think that.
