I've been in full support of Gerry. He may be dead, but for a dead guy...he's pretty cool. Can't wait to re-vote!Now that is what I call pleading a case!! Way to sound like a Doc Guy Gerry!!

I have decided that the re-vote will happen next week instead of the full two weeks. If another member of the Doc Guys has anything they want added to the ballot, you must bring it up before next Wednesday. April 19th, 2017!I've been in full support of Gerry. Im ready to vote as well! I just hope Calvin gets back on. It sounds like he might like the results of this one.I have decided that the re-vote will happen next week instead of the full two weeks. I have something to address. I recently saw Zack_Morris post on different thread. Would be considered eligible to become a Doc Guy? He was an athlete, his whole life is pretty much documented, and he is still alive. So should he be added to the vote next week?I have decided that the re-vote will happen next week instead of the full two weeks. Bosko who all is on the ballot for this time around?I have decided that the re-vote will happen next week instead of the full two weeks. If another member of the Doc Guys has anything they want added to the ballot, you must bring it up before next Wednesday. April 19th, 2017!
As of right now, just CalvinCandy and GerryBertier. If the other members decide, we might add Zack_MorrisBosko who all is on the ballot for this time around?
I agree Real Mox, but is AC Slater even on this board? I dont recall ever seeing a post of his.If Zack Morris is in then AC Slater gets a shot as well!
I guess we will have to see if Zack gives him a call and tells him to jump on MOSports! As of right now, just CalvinCandy and GerryBertier. If the other members decide, we might add Zack_Morris

You raise a pretty good point there Gerry. While those people are in docs, they are not in a sports documentary. They shouldnt be allowed. And on that basis, while Zack and AC were athletes, they are not in a sports documentary. I dont think either one of them should be on the ballot. I would vote no on both of them. You however, are making a nice case to get my vote!If we open that door......what's next? Screech? Steve Erkel? Mr Belding? Screech has been to prison for the love of Julius Campbell.
Hey! Look at the new guy making some sense! They should not be on the ballot. For all Doc Guys, this Wednesday is the next vote. If you were any person that is actually ALIVE from the Titans I would welcome you with open arms!I understand the bitterness and hatred. Remember the Titans was a true wholesome story with good people coming TOGETHER and the The Program was a painful story about unpleasant people and an abusive coach. But there is room for this All-American to bring some decency to the group.

Good catch Joe! Gerry is jumping the gun a little bit here.Who is this "WE" you speak of?? You are not in.
Your doc does have a good message of people coming TOGETHER and we Doc Guys are all about that......I understand the bitterness and hatred. From his home in Alexandria, Va., Greg Paspatis watched the transformation of the former coach with rising outrage. Paspatis went to T.C., as it's known around the Beltway, and was a kicker on Boone's 1977 team. That was a few years after the events depicted in Remember the Titans took place, and a season before Boone left his coaching job in disgrace following a player mutiny, the very public defection of several assistants, and accusations of verbal and physical abuse.
Apart from the name, little about the celluloid Boone rings true to Paspatis. The Boone of the movie is an inspiring leader whose righteous efforts unified a community that, until he showed up, had been divided along racial lines. But Paspatis has long argued that Boone was an egalitarian only in one sense. "Herman Boone treated everybody horribly, no matter what race," says Paspatis.
And Paspatis still wants people to know it. He has a history degree and is historian for the local Alexandria Sportsman's Club, and for a decade beginning in the mid-1990s he served as the T.C. football program's volunteer stats guy. For years now, he's been collecting and copying archival news clips and sending them out to anybody—colleges, journalists, bowl game organizers—who has promoted the Boone myth or has otherwise taken the Hollywood script as scripture. Don't try telling Paspatis, "It's just a movie!" to excuse its fictions.
"I don't think," he says, "the movie should be more important than the truth."
Paspatis has never quibbled about the greatness of that Titans team, which destroyed opponents all year long, going 13-0 and posting a 357-45 scoring differential, with nine shutouts. He asserts to anybody who'll listen, though, that the greatness was a function of numbers and existing talent, not anything Boone cultivated. The merger of three full-sized high schools gave T.C. by far the biggest talent pool in the state. In a 1972 story in the Washington Post, Thomas Boswell wrote that there were 4,427 high school students in Alexandria, meaning the total number of potential athletes at T.C. was "more than double that of any other" school in the region. Because of that built-in competitive advantage, local athletic commissioners agreed to shift T.C. to a different scholastic league every year after the consolidation until 1975. Boswell's story was inspired by coaches from the Great Falls District, which was scheduled to admit T.C. in 1973, drafting and sending a letter to area principals threatening to boycott games against the Titans unless the team was split into two varsity squads. No such split took place, but the Great Falls coaches never followed through.
The 1971 Titans' best player, linebacker Gerry Bertier, had been a starter two seasons earlier for the regional champion team from Hammond High, one of the consolidated schools. There was no state tournament that season. (Bertier's 1971 numbers, via Paspatis's record-keeping, seem the stuff of fiction: In 13 games, he had 42 quarterback sacks and threw opposing backs for 432 yards in losses. Bertier was paralyzed in an auto accident after the 1971 season, and not, as Howard's script led viewers to believe, before the state championship game.) Paspatis still keeps a clipping from the Alexandria Gazettefrom after the season showing that Boone finished fifth in the 1971 Coach of the Year poll of local varsity coaches.
Where do you find these things Johnny? If I remember correctly, you have shared some articles before. This is a good one. I might be voting no against Bertier now. This article makes me think they werent about coming TOGETHER.....LOL A "true" wholesome story about people coming together....Gerry, you know it is all lies, your coach got drummed out of town because he was so abusive.

Wow. Somebody must have taken a leak in your cheerios. But no matter what you say, I played in a football game for the Fightin' Irish, got a sack, and then got carried off the field........Joe Montana might be mad because I got after him in practice as a scout team All-AmericanThe biggest fake on this thread isn't Mox or Bertier. It's the life long fraud Rudy. His movie and life are a fraud. He spent most of his adult life trying to get a movie made about himself to be famous so he would never have to have a real job because he was so irresponsible he couldn't keep one.
The movie scene where the ND players threatened to turn their Jerseys in NEVER HAPPENED. The whole stadium chanting Rudy! NEVER HAPPENED. A bunch of made up BS. Joe Montana exposed this fraud.
He is also a horrible speaker. A fraud.
Where do you find these things Johnny? If I remember correctly, you have shared some articles before. This is a good one. I might be voting no against Bertier now. This article makes me think they werent about coming TOGETHER.....
Well keep up the good work Johnny! Youre reporting and fact finding keeps us Doc Guys in check!Hey after what happened to me during the recruiting process for college ball I always dig deep to make sure there is nothing more to the story.
I really hope all of you Doc guys get out and vote Calvin Candy into your group tomorrow. I have noticed there isn't as much controversy without him posting, which maybe that is what you guys want, but he sure did make things more interesting than it has been since his departure. I do hold the same opinion as most of you that Gerry Bertier is however a fake. Just a concerned bystander here that hopes you guys can bring your group back TOGETHER as BoosterBosko would say!Hey! Look at the new guy making some sense! They should not be on the ballot. For all Doc Guys, this Wednesday is the next vote. Great point! I miss Calvin Candie and will be voting YES again tomorrow on him. Im still on the fence about Gerry. As of right now, only Calvin and Gerry are going to be on the ballot. I'm wondering if we need to vote on Rudy? Some valid points have been brought up about him that could revoke his Doc Guy status...Great point! Should we vote on WURLITZER? He seems to be a supporter of the Doc Guys like I was. Maybe its a good thing to have a few non documentary stars in the group? Keeps the all of you famous stars level headed and grounded by us common folk.I really hope all of you Doc guys get out and vote Calvin Candy into your group tomorrow. So would we be voting him out or in?I'm wondering if we need to vote on Rudy? Some valid points have been brought up about him that could revoke his Doc Guy status...
You may have cost some guys some spots on the doc guy roster, but it's good to have you back Shane.Doc Guys,
I want sincerely apologize for my missing presence the last week. I've been unbelievably busy scraping hulls on house boats. Since the weather has been turning nice, everybody wants to get out on the lake again. I would have voted Calvin and Bertier in. As a heisman trophy winning QB, it was my job to make sure everyone got along on the team. Rudy seems a little iffy, but Calvin has had my back since day 1!!!! Bertier seems crazy, he has the RED light GREEN light problem kinda like Danny Bateman did...

It is good to have you back Falco. I was beginning to worry. If youre around tomorrow, were having another vote. Calvin and Gerry are getting their re vote. There have been some rumblings of possibly adding Zack_Morris, Rudy, and recently WURLITZER. Im not entirely on board for those last 2. Especially Zack_Morris. Mox, are we voting on adding Rudy or stripping him of his Doc Guy status? You may have cost some guys some spots on the doc guy roster, but it's good to have you back Shane.
Rudy should already be in based on him being alive and actually having a Football Doc. All others should not be in unless they are voted in and made honorary members by a majority of Football Doc Guys.It is good to have you back Falco. I was beginning to worry. I think WURLITZER needs to prove himself a little more before we add him in. Shoot90 has been with the Doc Guys group since the beginning, and has posted along with us often. I feel we need a little more from WURLITZER.It is good to have you back Falco. I was beginning to worry. If youre around tomorrow, were having another vote. I appreciate even the consideration fellas, but I'm really not on here enough to add much to your conversations. I just enjoy casually getting on here and seeing the pi$$ing matches that some of you used to get in, but since your vote those instances have gone down. You don't have to put my name in the hat on the vote if you don't want to, but I will continue to follow along with you guys either way! Long live the Doc Guys!I think WURLITZER needs to prove himself a little more before we add him in. Shoot90 has been with the Doc Guys group since the beginning, and has posted along with us often. I feel we need a little more from WURLITZER.
I would say we may need to see if we want to vote him out. He does have a Doc, but the questions was raised whether or not it was a "real" doc, like all of ours, or if it was just a "movie".
Here! Here! I second that Joe!Rudy should already be in based on him being alive and actually having a Football Doc. All others should not be in unless they are voted in and made honorary members by a majority of Football Doc Guys.
I believe Rudy is a Doc Guy. There should be no need to have him on the ballot tomorrow. WURLITZER is a bit new and rarely posts about anything. He will also be left off the ballot What about Zack_Morris? He was an athlete and his whole life is documented, but it is not a sports documentary. I feel he should be left off.I think WURLITZER needs to prove himself a little more before we add him in. YESSSSSSSS!!! Calvin returns on the eve of the vote!!!! Welcome back old friend!Shoot 90, Wurlitzer, thank you for the kind words, and appreciating what I used to bring to this group. I just wanted to say that after taking my holiday I have really missed being a part of the doc guy conversations. The conversation has gotten bland since I left. I hope all that vote tomorrow will vote with your head and not your heart. I know there are guys like STEPH and one of the Mox/Fake Mox that dislike me down to the core, but I ask that they consider the overall health of the Doc guys as a group, and where they are headed when they vote tomorrow. As of right now it seems that nobody is TOGETHER, and I hate that for Bosko who has worked so hard as the leader to get everyone on the same page. When you vote tomorrow don't let that fraud berqueers name leave a bad taste in your mouth about me. I don't how he even made the ballot. I knew he was a fake from the get go, and have not once supported him. Just know that whichever way the vote goes tomorrow that I will once again add my opinion to these threads, and that you will either be With me or Against me in the future of this forum..Vote wisely.
Agreed! Here! Here! I second that Joe!
