CJ vs Nixa was the pre-season pick to be the deciding game but now Carthage is poised to be the first team besides WC to win since WC joined. Standing in the way is a very capable Neosho team. If Carthage were to lose, they would share with Ozark and probably CJ.

Carthage - Carthage absolutely has what it takes to win this game and secure the title. But I picked this game as a potential "upset" early in the season and still think that's possible. This could be a repeat of last year where a missed extra point could be the difference. Carthage has missed a ton this year and I keep thinking it's going to bite them but so far their margins of victory have been more than enough.

CJ - Nixa seems to be in a funk and I was never convinced they were a top tier class 5 team anyways. I had stated at one point when they were still undefeated that I wouldn't be surprised if they lost all 4 of their last games, which now looks fairly likely to me. This could be a battle but CJ is playing much better than Nixa right now so I don't think it will be close.

WC - It is conceivable that Branson could win this but pretty unlikely. Branson has won at Cardinal Stadium, though it has been quite some time now. I think Branson's only path to victory here is if WC suffers a lot of turnovers (not difficult to imagine), but Branson MUST capitalize on all of them. WC even though they have struggled this season is still a good team by most standards. The 3 teams that beat WC could end up all sharing the title, so they are not a bad team. Just not the best team.

Willard - Two teams having a hard time finding wins, but Willard's magins have been narrow against the top teams. I expect the to pummel Republic.
