Complete dumpster fire. Someone over there needs to step up and put an end to the madness.Palmyra looks to be open again with some major drama going on there.
what's the story?Complete dumpster fire. Someone over there needs to step up and put an end to the madness.
Been a consistent winning program. Never won a title but they have had some great teams and always compete.what's the story?
That used to be a pretty good program if I remember right.
It doesn't take long for the wrong parents to completely ruin a good thing.Been a consistent winning program. Never won a title but they have had some great teams and always compete.
But now they have let a lynch mob group of parents take over and run out several coaches.
4 Palmyra school staff members on paid administrative leave
Palmyra High School placed four staff members on paid administrative leave this morning pending the outcome of a now underway investigation.Superintendent at Pakhqa.com
This story came out last week but it has grown. Apparently there was misuse of school issued cell phones/emails and it looks like it has cost some people their jobs. Supposedly they were texting bad about a player or something and the parent got wind and was able to implement the Sunshine Law.
Of course this is all hearsay. But good luck getting someone to come coach there now.
I’m surprised by that. Mainly because Bolivar hasn’t been so hot as of late.Jamie LaSalle is the guy at Bolivar
Must be some talent in the JH.I’m surprised by that. Mainly because Bolivar hasn’t been so hot as of late.
Be nice to see him turn things around there.
Bolivar is:
34-31 in the last 6 seasons overall
16-17 overall since joining the Ozark Conference in 2020
13-14 in Ozark Conference competition since joining

Last I knew he was at Marionville(did extremely well there), then left for East Newton for a year and then dipped and headed to his alma mater Miller and I wanna say he only coached there a few years. Maybe 2-3?Where is he coming from?
Did it in involve hot Palmyra moms?Palmyra drama blowing up on Facebook. Someone posting pics of some of the texts from the group chat that got those 4 fired, I mean made them resign.

WHOA HO!!! Are there hot moms in Palmyra!?Did it in involve hot Palmyra moms?
Well, when I come visit Kearney, Palmyra will NOT be on my list to check out then!
Totally weird for sure. Always remember if the Company (school) issues a phone/computer (I have a Company issued notebook in my home office) they have every right to read stuff like this. We have set use SOPs would certainly hope the schools have the same.I have several teachers in my family and fully support and know what teachers and administrators have to deal with on a daily basis.....but they sound like 13 y/o jr high boys in those texts.
I don't know about that. The worst I've ever said is a kid fumbled the ball too much when..................the stats verified it and some snowflake parent decided to cry to the head FB coach. That being the case would never have called her names much as I wanted to.Looks like standard commentary here on MoSports. Nothing to see here.
They may need to drop to 8 manSome of these jobs should have had replacements by now - Crest Ridge, Clinton, Fayette, pleasant Hope??! Could somebody call palmyra and see if they have a new coach yet!
Dalton sounds like a fantastic young man, that being said as someone who tends to follow the Bearcats, NWMSU "Star" might be a reach. But if he doesnt send homophobic texts, he's a star in my book.
People said the same thing 40 years ago. Funny how the sky is always falling, according to certain types. For the record, I was speaking mostly of the finished product. Test scores and the measuring sticks. But totally agreed, the process now is severely flawed. When elementary retention and ability grouping in subject areas became bad, we lost the ability to individualize content in larger settings. It's been going on long enough that it's prevalent now in the upper grades. It's an absolute mess.
I'm tired of the schools indoctrinating my kids. What's next, you gonna try and teach my kids that dinosaurs existed?People said the same thing 40 years ago. Funny how the sky is always falling, according to certain types.
Said what 40 years ago? 40 years ago schools could, and did, retain and ability group. I’m not sure what your point is. Mine was simply that schools are doing the same (maybe less) with more (tech and money). And they’re doing this because we have to cling to the premise that all are somewhat equal, which we know they aren’t.People said the same thing 40 years ago.
