Carl Junction at Webb City....... Who ya got?

I'm new to mosports, but not new to SWMO football. WC's home dominance is that of legend. An opponent has to score more than 14 points to even be in the game. I keep hearing CJ people say, "We aren't the same team that WC played earlier in the season." So... Do you think WC is the same team? So you are telling me, that CJ got better, but WC stayed the same or got worse. PLEASE!!

FWIW, I'm positive both teams have gotten better.

Oh I don't disagree with that! I think both teams have gotten better too. That's a logical thing to think. It's not logical to think that 1 team has gotten better and the other one has stayed the same is what I was getting at.
I don't however, think that CJ has surpassed WC, In their progress. That is why I don't think the margin is going to change much. WC wins this one at home, fired up and adds an extra TD to the margin for good measure

CJ won't see the WC 20 but once maybe twice all night. The body of work for both teams points to WC being a clear favorite on Friday. Flint you struggle with time also. We still have 51 hoourss dan 38 mniutes.
I doubt Zeke Wall is any better this Friday night than he was week one. But I do believe that Webbs O-Line that has to deal with him is much improved since then.Oh I don't disagree with that! Listen, have you not heard? Only John and the Cards improve thru the football season. No other team or coach has that capability, Webb City owns the rights and the patent exclusively.

I think this game will be like it was in 2014? Or was it 2015? Close and rainy and ending with some mistakes. I have watched both teams this year and they have some explosive players. I like WC’s chances because of their depth; however, CJ impresses me too. They have very good team chemistry. So does Webb though.
I am going to predict CJ 21-WC 20.
Mainly just to be different. Also, that “CJ has never won a playoff game against WC” is a monkey on WC’s back. Lastly, I want to see if my son reads this board.

If your son was still playing for Webb, you'd pick the Cardinals. And so would I.
Let's hope their offensive line plays better this week or it'll be a turbo by half.

I hope it is a great game. Hate to see either team go out in this round. They both deserve to go past districts. This game is a nice pass for some other team to make it to state that CJ or WC would have beaten. Makes me wish there were ranked playoffs. Guess this doesn’t happen that offen though that #1 and #2 in the state are in same district.

We only lose if your son's receivers can't catch the ball AND 5 of our 11 defensive starters go down. Very unlikely that CJ scores 21. What games have you been watching. O-line is the only possible weakness either team has and CJ's is significantly weaker. Might want to talk to your son more often?????? Haha
I just don’t think CJ will go down without a fight. I am not disputing Webb is favored. I am sure those CJ boys know that too. They are probably using it for motivation.

I know I was just giving you a hard time. I believe this will be a hard fought defensive battle. The team that controls the line of scrimmage best from the offensive side should win the game. My gut is WC has the better offensive line. The wild card is Wall. We have to manage him a little better than the first time.
It was merely a compliment - AD was a heckuva an athlete in multiple sports.
