Home of the Cubs!!
Man just when I think I see myself voting this way....something stupid happens. And when I tell people I know that I am undecided both sides are equally hateful, and that turns me off more to their candidate. Sorry to me this is like eating a SH*# sandwich and trying to decide between ruffled or non-ruffled potato chips.
I lean conservative on many issues but find it hard to vote Trump not because of his policies but because of how he carries himself and the way many others in the party act. I always ask myself is this the sort of man I would want to work for or leading my company and the answer is usually no....but to that he has tried to do what he said he would do? Also I know that Trump and the Senate have every right to move forward with the nomination and confirmation on the Supreme court. But to me they are all going against their word no matter how they try to spin and rationalize it, and that turns me off, In fact before this I would be more likely to Vote republican if they would hold off until after the election show me you are good for you word, I want people who I know I can count on when they give me their word and not change that when it benefits them, that worries me about their overall principles...WWJD?

However I find it hard to support Biden because well I lean conservative, and looking at his track record he has screwed the middle class many times in his 47 years in office well he was a senator for Delaware after all the corporate headquarter capital. I would say he is personally responsible for the student debt crisis that affects many parents and college students today, by making it easier for students and parents to take out loans, and then when people started having issues paying those loans back he made it impossible to discharge those student loans, birthing a predatory student loan industry. There are many other things that he supports that I have issues with...but really it is like putting weights on a scale, I find one thing I hate about Biden and I will find something about Trump.

So here I am undecided....trying to figure out which side I want with my $%^& sandwich....

Sad honest question, do you believe we have a checks and balance system in place now? I sure as hell don't.
Because it really seems like what we have right now is pretty much an elected King and a divided congress and that is not a reference to Trump....I just mean since 2011 congress has pretty much ground to a halt and both sides Pub and Dem have decided not to vote for anything the other party shows any support for, or to even compromise when it comes to passing bills. Which is clearly not what Americans want and it shows by how we vote either side out after they gain power and then abuse that power.
So right now honestly the only way things seem to get done is by executive order while both sides of congress sit on their hands and bitch about how the President abuses power but yet continue to yield all the power to the executive branch, no matter Pub or Dem is in charge.

Why can't the country survive four more years of Trump? I'm honestly curious, and admittedly ignorant, of politics. Are you speaking economically? Socially?

Simple question to help you answer. Did you have to wear a mask 4 years ago in order to help protect your family and friends from a virus that this President has tried to play down for 8 months and to this day is saying it's going to go away.

It has always been easy to get student loans.
Sort of.... however I have done some research on the candidates, I don't blindly vote Donkey or Elephant, not saying you do and I don't know how old you are.... But Please read below, I am old enough I remember all of these votes and Biden is Pub in Dems clothing he does not care for the working class as he says. The thing is the Dems really didn't created this student loan mess however they have done nothing to stop it as loans have ballooned along with college cost. Because thanks to Joe supporting the bankruptcy law you can be loaned any amount to go to college because these loan companies know you are on the hook for it the rest of your life, which makes colleges drive up tuitions, because they know you can get a loan.
Alot of these are some interesting reads, some are slanted one way or the other but most point to Joe being the issue of a problem he is now promising to fix.... Joe voted for the law that made student loans bankruptcy proof creating predatory college loans we have today.

VBsideout, you and I both know the answer to that is no.

However did Trump bring on the virus? I think both sides are wrong on the issue. But I don't know what the answer is we have never faced anything like this before? I don't like how the Right down plays it and I don't like how the left over states it. I think we need some middle ground, we need more truth from both sides not propaganda to support your beliefs or your candidate.

Of course Trump didn't bring the virus . You've answered your question when you mentioned the word truth. We know Trump will lie to us every step of the way so it only makes sense to vote for a change and see how bad that change will be. If truth is what you're looking for you have no other choice than to vote for Biden. Just today Trump tweeted his new health care plan is on the way and will be better than anything we've ever seen.

I have wondered who in the world could possibly still be undecided after watching this mad man damage our government for four years. Pick a freakin side and defend it. It’s obvious you want to support the spray tanned tear gassing con man. Your “I’m an independent and I don’t know what to do” act is growing as thin as Donny’s bald spot.

Is THIS WHAT YOU WANT TO CONTINUE WITH?

This is a very small sample size of 1. I am a diabetic on insulin. In June Trump told the world that insulin prices were going down , when I ordered my 90 supply it went up $179. Just ordered again yesterday and it went up $474. I would suggest that I hold out little hope on this new health care plan he is touting and has touted for 4 years.

Listen, I voted independent last election I may do it this time. Hell I might write in your name or Raw for Pres!! Nobody from either side has convinced me why I should vote for their candidate based on policy, Biden says alot but his track record proves he will do the opposite. And Really Joe had a chance with his VP pick, He blew it by picking Harris, she just fit what they wanted him to pick, and not the best person for the job. Honestly Harris is probable going to be president sometime in Joes first term, I don't want an 81 year old president.

The only issue I have voting 3 party this time is the candidates there seem worse than the two options we have. I say let's vote Slippery Pete!!

No this is exactly why I have issues....you don't have to point it out to me. What I want to support is some of the policy's... I will be honest I like some of those. And if I were to ask myself if I am better off than I was 4 years ago even with this virus I would have to answer yes. However I am also not blind to the fact that many are not either. I meet a person yesterday who lost his job, his house, it is scary times out there for some. That is what makes this election suck so bad.

Also Trump getting Covid and bouncing back so fast is probable the worst thing that could have happened to him and our Country at this point. It only strengthens many resolve that this thing is not as bad as many on the left want to say it is. Me and my wife went to Wally world last night and nobody but the workers were wearing mask. We were about the only two. My wife just told me that her co workers aunt is in Joplin with Covid and they have called the family to let them know she is probable not going to make it. They are out of vents and she needs one and unless one opens up she is going to be in trouble and that is so sad in my book.

Voting 3rd party is a wasted vote. It will make you feel good, and is your one vote going to tip the election one way or the other? I say that as someone who wrote in Joe Biden last time. It makes me feel good to say I didn't vote for Clinton, and I can rationalize that my one vote would not have made her President.
That said, Biden isn't the Biden I voted for four years ago. I am not sure what Trump can really say he will do better than Biden? He hangs his hat on the economy and the Wall Street Journal is saying the economy will come back faster under Biden. So I really don't know why a person would vote for Trump unless it's because of judges, but that is really the only reason I can see for voting for Trump, whereas there are a lot more to vote for Biden.

I think we need to see what it looks like at the end of the week for Trump. I mean I feel 20 years better when they give me prednisone. I can't imagine how much better I would feel on a stronger steroid. I think he just got off the steroid recently so let's see how he feels then.

Expect summing it up pretty good. While I voted third party last year it was a waste of vote....No it doesn't make me feel good.

I don't know why I cannot pull the trigger on either one... there are many reasons why I cannot vote for either...I just wanted to see if anybody else is still undecided. I talk to many who are strong one side or the other and I just cannot get there right now.

Joe Biden, in my eyes, is a seriously lame candidate. However, what I am looking for is to be able to relax without constant daily turmoil and worry.

Prior to 2020, I pretty much trusted the CDC and the FDA. Trump has politicized agencies that use to be huge strengths of our country. To me that’s serious damage.

I love visiting our national parks, monuments and wilderness areas. Biden will not allow drilling and/or mining in these beautiful areas. Trump would sell them all off if allowed.

Biden is more likely to lower the age for Medicare and/or offer a public option. I think that is very important. Not a Trump priority.

Climate change needs to be dealt with. Trump denies it even exists.

Hate crimes are at a 16 year high. It’s almost popular to be in a white supremacy group under Trump.

Biden won’t kiss Putin’s arse.

Canada and Mexico need to be our best friends.

All of Europe needs to be our good friends.

Biden will be a President for every state. Not just the ones that vote for him.

Trump encourages rude behavior everywhere. You can even see it on mosports, myself included.

@bullitpdq68 I want to disagree with your assertion that she fit what they told him to pick. I truly believe that decision was made before the first and second debate. After the first debate there were rumors about her being veep and if she hurt herself. I think there was a conversation that if she did not go after him like she did during the first debate she would be on the ticket and she made a gamble that he would win.
No one was talking about a black female veep until Biden painted himself in the corner. I think it was decided long before that.

Bullit I wish I could say how you or I vote will make a difference, but it's exactly like one of the so called conservatives on here said the other day. We live in Missouri and Missouri WILL go to Trump and there ain't damn thing either of us can do about it! I will go vote, even on the presidential part of the ballot, but it just won't make any difference in the outcome for our state. Maybe I can get a vote to go my way in the local offices.

Thing that irks me about Biden is him blaming Trump for 214,000 Americans who have died of Covid and literally saying their blood is on Trumps hands. Every country on earth of any size has had tens of thousands of deaths and nobody has stopped it in its tracks.

Obama put Biden in charge of curing cancer and Biden launched the big “Moonshot” initiative to put the power of the federal government behind finding a cure. Since Biden did absolutily nothing except pay for a website to cure cancer I guess the blood of the hundreds of thousands that have died of the disease are on his hands also.

Trump is 10x better than Biden could ever dream to be. Look at Bidens 47 year record and try to come up with something positive he has done

I don’t think that is true. My daughter is an RN at Mercy in Joplin and they are cutting back hours for lack of patients. Freeman came out with application statement a few weeks ago saying their Covid patient count has gone down every week since july

It’s odd how much I agree with all of this. I just really, really wish voting for Biden meant Biden would really be the president. I just don’t think he will. It would also be nice to base a choice on voting FOR someone, rather than voting AGAINST the other. Second election in a row you’re voting for the lesser of two evils. Hell, I did what Bullit did last election.

Many Feel that way and really won't budge on that principle so that's the breaks. Fact is enforcement of masks is almost impossible plus many believe it is ineffective(A lot of Science Backs that up) and unneeded. Nobody is stopping anyone from wearing a mask. So wear one, I do but if you don't I don't give a darn and am not going to be a Nazi Snitch and groan about it.

I don't understand why people get so emotional about non-mask wearers??? If you are at Risk that is on you to stay away and wear your mask.

Percentages are a fair measure. Raw numbers are not. Third largest country in the world. Think China's numbers are accurate? Indias? Come on, now. I get you hate the dude, and I don't like him. But posting a tweet like that is just the kind of crap the mainstream media fed the general public early on, and are really still trying to do. Anyone that deals in comparing numbers knows that dealing with raw numbers isn't a comparison.
